This tour was amazing
Excellent way to see palma. Friendly staff and good commentry whilst on the bus. The castle is worth a visit for great views over palma.
Great way to see many places with little time.
Gives an excellent overview of Palma
It was a great tour! Glad that we got entrances to the Vatican and didn't have to make that crazy long line.
Lines are very long at the cruise ship terminal, suggest you walk to the stop BEFORE the terminal...saved us over an hour of line waiting!
Enjoyed this tour very much. The tour was just perfect for our time off the cruise ship! make sure you see the church!
It was a good tour, but it was difficult to find the bus pick-up area when coming off the cruise ship. We had to ask several people where to go. It would be helpful if there were signs directing people to the pick-up location and if it were emailed to the customer immediately after signing up for the tour so they know where to go when they get off the ship. A large colorful red Hop-on Hop-Off Tour sign would be helpful also. .
The tour was good, reliable. The drivers were friendly and helpful.
The overall tour was good, easy way to get around the city and see the sites. It was frustrating to get to the stops on where the buses pick up at but learn from our mistakes. If you're porting from cruise (ours was Royal Carribbean), take the shuttle into town and hop on the bus across the street
Good basic tour of Palma de Mallorca, but the English description was hard to understand and follow on the map. Would have been great to have each location number announced somehow.
Beautiful city. Wished we had a longer stop there.
Perfect for a quick shore excursion. Pick up point was right outside port terminal and buses were plentiful so no delays if you stopped to see something. Voucher was accepted with no question.
Was perfect for the two of us... allowed us to get an overall sense of the city in a short period of time and the flexibility to explore a couple of sights in more detail... A good and economical alternative to private tours.
Bus stop is right outside the port. We had to wait as there was a crowd originally but they did get a second bus within 30 minutes. Was able to hop on and off as there was plenty of buses. Very nice and enjoyable as we did not have too much time there.
Bus stop just outside port, got a second bus once line became long. Plenty of buses and information
Utilized shuttle from cruise ship to Cathedral in the interest of time as learned from Valencia experience. The Hop-On Hop-Off Tour is good if you want a city overview but less good if you want to visit a specific site because you must ride the entire loop to get to your preferred destination. Sometimes the loop takes 1 hour or more. and then there is the challenge of returning to port before your ship sails. Bus may be better for land based tourists.
Although we pre-booked we still had to queue for the bus. As there were 2 large cruise ships in port we had to wait over an hour for a bus.
The tour was good, stopping at some interesting places. We spent some time at Bellver Castle - amazing views.
Booking our tour with Viator was very fast and easy. We also had a discounted rate. We just presented our printed coupon to the tour operator and we got on the bus without a problem. But the tour itself was a bit hurried and hectic. We were not able to stop at all the scheduled stops due to time constraint. If we did, then we would have missed our ship! We stopped at the Cathedral, which was closed unfortunately, stayed around and enjoyed the view, did some souvenir shopping and then went on to Bellver Castle. We didn't have time to go inside, just took some pictures of the castle and the harbor then boarded the bus again. This time we did not make any more stops, we just stayed inside the bus, enjoyed the view and the ride around the City and then it was time to get back to the ship! For people who are pressed for time, these two places are worth your stop.
Too much hurry up and wait when you are in Palma by a cruise ship.
Thought it was great. Unfortunately the weather turned bad so it was very blowing and cold and we decided not to take the blue route but to return to the ship. It was a wise decision as about 30 mins after our return the rain came down in bucketfuls. I think we saw enough of Mallorca in the time we had. It is a lovely place and have never seen so many pearl shops in my life!
Easy way to see Palma. Quite convenient.
The local operator in Palma de Mallorca sucks. We had a pre-purchased ticket, so we can hop-in and hop-off anytime (which is the purpose of the tour), but the local operator made us fall in line for half an hour or so to hop-in the bus; there was only 1 line for those with pre-purchased tickets like us and those who are still buying the HOHO tour. The local operator is also rude and instead of responding to our question why we're held back from hopping-in the bus, he instead responded by complaining that he's been there selling ticket since morning - that's his job and that's how they prefer to operate, why whine. Plus, earphone sockets do not work - you can see electrical lines along the streets filled/wrapped with earphones thrown out by HOHO passengers as the HOHO bus passes under these electrical lines.
Just perfect !You can see all town from all sides in some very funny and easy way!The stop station was just in front of the port, very easy to be found!I recommended it to everybody!
