Doing what: Marrakech Discovery Tour
The tour was very comprehensive and took in a lot of Marrakesh's main sights. The local guides English was good and he clearly explained things. Door to door it was a 10 hour day so wear some comfy shoes! But if you want to get to see Marrakesh without the stress this is a good tour. D and G (London)

Doing what: Berber Trails 4WD Day Trip from Marrakech
This was a very scenic tour, with stops along the way for souveniers and to see how women make oils and fragrances. The highlight was the mint tea at a local berber village home. The family that welcomed us into their home made the experience memorable.
The reason for the three stars is I feel that this tour through the atlas mountains could probably offer more scenic options.
I still think it is worth doing as it is a great opportunity to see the other side of Morocco... the Berber people and their beautiful natural landscapes.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Marrakech, it was great to get out of the hustle and bustle and get to see the real berbers and the mountains up close. Hassan (our tour guide) was exceptional and we were lucky to be in his 4WD all day and have a good chat!

Doing what: Essaouira Day Trip from Marrakech
Eassaouira is a nice change from the chaos in Marrakech. It is way more relaxed and cosy. You'll have the opportunity to see the argan oil manufactures, visit the medina and the wood manufactures and generally understand the history of Essaouira.

Does what it says, "Discovery Tour", I feel the information given about the Tour should have emphasised that there is an awful lot of walking. Guide was very knowledgeable and if you like architecture then it is very good. Excellent traditional lunch. Two half day tours would have been less tiring.

It gives a sort of orientation to get you going or if you are on time constraints. I would have loved to view moasque mohammed form near if not inside.

Doing what: Marrakech Discovery Tour
A great way to see the sights and sounds of Marrakech, especially if you want to get a feel of the area before exploring by yourself. The place is a maze and you need the guides, who were excellent, as were their stories. We booked in UK before a short break and would definitely recommend it.

Doing what: Berber Trails 4WD Day Trip from Marrakech
Amazing views! Lots of photo oprtunities - took some great pictures! The pottery stop and womens' co-op was interesting but things were hugely overpriced - much cheaper to get same things in city. Visit to berber house was quaint, friendly but sobering. Lunch was tasty and fresh!

A great trip to get to see the Atlas Mountains, booked from UK before travelling as only visiting Marrakech for long weekend. Lunch was good and the stop at the Berber village included the full tea ceremony. However the guide rode in the other car, speaking French, so only got a limited commentary.

A very full and quite tiring day with an excellent guide. He knew his way through the souks, where it would be very easy to get lost, so that we saw a lot of things you would miss if you were on your own. He gave a very good explanation of the tombs and the palace. Excellent Moroccan lunch.

Lots of walking and sometimes hard to keep whole group together esp through narrow souks. Too much to see in 1 day. Guide was rubbish! Loved the sound of his own voice and kept every1 listening to him talk about irrelevant things whilst at the sites instead of allowing time to explore/take pictures.
