Doing what: Marrakech Discovery Tour
The guide was very knowledable and continually asked for feedback and questions. The tour was just as described all the sites were visited and ample time was given at each of the stops to take picutures and look. The lunch was excellent and the food was plenty. For the price can't beat it and it made it much easier for me to explore the city following the tour, HIGHLY SUGGESTED, great bargain, thanks Viator for coming through again.

Doing what: Berber Trails 4WD Day Trip from Marrakech
The best bargain of all the tours excellent guide and driver. The views were incredible, the tea w/ the local family was awesome and an luch was really good with great views. The stops were informative and there wasn't a lot of pressure to buy. Great bargain, thanks to fellow travelers for the suggestion to skip the other tours. A full day sightseeing for a great price!

Doing what: Marrakech Discovery Tour
The tour of Marrakech was exceptionally well-organized with knowledgeable guide. The morning tour included the Koutoubia mosque, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace and Berber museum. After an excellent lunch of traditional Moroccan foods, we visited the areas medina, an herbalist and finished at the Djemaa el Fna square with free time. It is a walking tour, but a bus brought us from place to place as we were a large group (50 people). Transport from hotel was a great plus!

Doing what: Marrakech Discovery Tour
This was a great way to view the main tourist spots of the city of Marrakech. There were variety and lots of stories that added to my knowledge of the city. I would have preferred a less "touristy" feel, but it's inevitable with groups of this size.

Doing what: Essaouira Day Trip from Marrakech
The actual town is well worth seeing, but I did not find the tour company helpful and the tour guide was not very friendly

Doing what: Essaouira Day Trip from Marrakech
Good trip- it was what I expected from reading previous reviews. The pick-up from the hotel was efficient and the trip was well organized. It is a long ride from Marrakech with many stops along the way, as mentioned in previous reviews. The beach was nice; however, that particular day it was too windy to stay on the beach. The guided tour around town was also interesting and permitted to have a brief overview of the city since if we spent only a few hours in Essaouira.

Doing what: Berber Trails 4WD Day Trip from Marrakech
This is a good trip if you want to get out of the city and into the countryside. There is one guide and he was not in the 4WD I rode in. We got commentary at the stops. First stop was a pottery making/selling store. Check prices in the souks next to Jemaa el Fnaa before going so you'll have an idea. The quality looked good but if you don't have a price reference, you're flying blind. Next stop was for a brief camel ride (extra cost). No one in my group did this. Other stops are for pictures, a visit to a Berber's house for Tea, then lunch in Imlil and near the end of the day at a Woman's Cooperative. If you want a running commentary from a guide, make sure you're in the guide's 4WD. I found it quite interesting just looking out the window as we drove around. The other people in the 4WD I was in all spoke English. Our driver had pretty much no English other than "picture... tea... lunch". Which is better than my Arabic or Berber!

Doing what: Fantasia Moroccan Dinner and Cultural Show
The dinner and show were great, however if you're staying in the Medina, you will have to take a taxi to the agency, where a bus will take you to the Fantasia show. We had to wait for the bus for over 30 mins and when the bus finally came, it took another 90 mins to pick everyone else up before we got to our destination. Not ideal.

First of all, regarding pick-up from "selected hotels", I had assumed that because my riad was in the medina, that it would be included in the pick up, but apparently if you book online you will only be picked up from "central" hotels in the new city area, not from the Medina. Tourists who book directly through their riad/hotel in the Medina will be picked up, but they pay a higher rate. This caused us a problem as we had to travel to the Viator office in the "new city" at our own expense and our taxi driver, who was late picking us up, dropped us off in the wrong place. We finally made it to the coach and visited various historic sights. Many of the people with us in the morning had booked the "historic tour". They left us at lunch time and we went on to lunch at a restaurant, Dar Es Salaam. Service was slow and food was bland, but the surroundings were attractive. The afternoon tour consisted of the souks and the tanneries, factories, etc. You were not given the opportunity to buy anything at the market stalls, but were taken to a particular gift shop (like a fair trade shop?) where you could purchase, although there was no huge pressure to buy. All in all, it was a long day and the next day I had blisters on my feet! With hindsight, I would have booked separate half-day tours through my riad and ensured transport to the tour coach was included. Otherwise, the content of the tour was interesting.

Doing what: Essaouira Day Trip from Marrakech
We had French people travelling with us and only 3 who spoke english. Most of the journey was translated in French so the English speakers felt left out.
Beach was beautiful, but the eating places were not brilliant.
We were shown around the streets, which is not as a pretty sight like the beach or the main roads.
Overall rating 3 out of 5

Excellent tour. The best way to get to know Marrakech. Tour took us to hidden streets we could not reach by ourselves. Best tour guide ever: good communicator, knows a lot of history, respecful serious and responsible. Some characteristics that were really difficult to find in many people ithe city.

Doing what: Berber Trails 4WD Day Trip from Marrakech
A ride that should be done. Provides insights into the valleys and snowy mountain in the distance, takes you to a visit into the home of a family living in a primitive form, and another visit to a manufacturing plant of Argan oil (olio d'argan).

Doing what: Fantasia Moroccan Dinner and Cultural Show
This made for a pleasant evening. Food was plentiful, but a little bland. The show was interesting and the horse riders skilful. Would have been better value if we had been picked up from our riad.
