Baltimore’s National Aquarium is the star of the Inner Harbor, home to 16,500 creatures and more than 660 species.
There are slithering reptiles and a giant octopus, and of course all kinds of fish from rays to sharks.
An Australian exhibit includes crocodiles and kookaburras, and mammals living here range from dolphins to marmosets.
Several levels of different habitats include reefs, rainforest, ocean, marsh and beach. The award-winning aquarium’s most popular exhibits include a sensory 4D immersion theater, dolphin show, shark tank and jellies exhibit.
