It is the only way to see the magnificent coastline and waterfalls of this island. The pilots commentary and knowledge of Maui was very informative. Glad we did the trip.
This trip was the highlight of our stay in Maui. The scenary was spectacular, and and the cost made it a great value. I highly recommend it!
This tour was excellent. Seats were to tight for whole day journey and there was practically no room to store the bag pack etc. It was very inconvenient. There were other tour company buses which were really spacious. I will rethink next time before booking with Viator.
We had a wonderful time. The driver, Jeff gave us wonderful information the whole time, we learned so much. The van was comfortable the fellow travelers were great. Would recommend this way to do the Hana road over driving it yourself
The tour itself was great, the guide was nice and very knowledgeable. The downside was the uncomfortable small bus we were on..cramped and no overhead space to place personal items during the full day tour.
This is a great way to see the rest of Maui. The oceans surrounding Maui are absolutely spectacular, they give you plenty of time to explore and take pics. The driver also lets you make choices along the way to customize your own tour. Our driver leilua was absolutely amazing, knowledgable and kind. It is a long day so make sure you are aware of this and don't make dinner reservations that you might not make. Might want to bring some snacks but there was two stops for food. The motion sickness got me, very winding roads but it was worth it. Thank you!!
Yes the bus is small and I would not recommend this trip for children (it is too long for them and the majority of the time is on the bus), or those with a bad back, but the scenery is amazing and the trip is so worthwhile. You can not have a big bus as the roads are really small and windy, so this company do the best they can. This is the best way to see a lot of the island, without the stress of driving the 600 or so bends yourself. Gorgeous views, waterfalls and well informed tour guide - I would definitely recommend this trip.
We had a wonderful time our personal tour guide was magnificent she was very professional and knowledgeable about are hike which was a bet challenging but it was worth it!! We got to take the most beautiful pictures of water falls and other landscaping. This was our first time in Maui Hawaii and this hike will be our most memorable adventure. A big thank you to our tour guide ...

This was the biggest disappointment of our trip. The vehicle used is a mini-van that has extremely cramped seating. There are no headrests or armrests and your knees will grind right into the row in front of you. I couldn't even reach down to put anything under my feet. Your seat on the airplane to get to Hawaii will seem like first class in comparison! My party left the tour after an hour because we foresaw how miserable we'd be over the long day. This is an expensive trip with very low value, save your money and do something enjoyable.
The road to Hana is something you leave to professional drivers and someone that knows the place very well so you don't miss any highlights and amazing sceneries. That's exactly what we got with this tour with a tour guide that's knowledgeable and funny. Thanks!
Very informative and the tour is the best way to see Hana. However, the tour is about 12 hours from start to finish and it is a very bumpy ride along the way. Overall, a great way to see all the highlights that Maui has to offer.
