I am from Melbourne and took a freind over to show them the sights. The trip was fantastic, extreamly well organised and hassle free. It would of been even better if we could of stayed at Healesville Santuary a little longer but no complaints.

We had a fabulous day on this tour. Our driver was very knowledgeable and informative. He even found kangaroo grazing in a field and stopped for us to have a look!! The Healesville Sanctuary was terrific. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone.

Our tour guide for this trip was great. Very informative, friendly and helpful. Tea and cake before Puffing Billy was really nice and there are cockatoos to feed (caution advised!). Puffing Billy was good. The lunch at the winery was really good as was the wine. I thought there would be wine tasting, but it seemed you only tasted wine you might like to buy. There was the option to visit more wineries or Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary. This was a guided tour by a keeper which was made it very interesting and the birds of prey show was great. Really enjoyed this trip.

Really enjoyable. Really good knowledge of driver. Puffing Billy was good fun. Healesville had a great range of animals.

Fabulous day out, starting off with Billy tea and lamingtons in Dandedong Range, then the 30 min trip on the steam train to fabulous lunch and wine tasting at Fergusons and last but not least the time we spend in Healesville Sanctuary. From the bus driver to the volunteers at the sanctuary was friendly, helpful and all contributed to a great day out!!

Our tour of Puffing Billy, the Yarra Valley and the Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary Day Tour was magnificient. Pick - up from our appointed spot was punctual, the driver was a ball of knowledge and he went out of his way to help people. Puffy Billy brought back many memories of the steam days and the lunch was extremely tasty. Time spent in the Wild life Sanctuary was rewarding also.

We have no hesitation in recommending this day tour to every one. Thanks again for the experience.

Booking through Viator is convenient PLUS lots of savings! It's so easy and the pick up is so convenient altho it is not at my destinated hotel. I thought it was a kiddy stuff with my boys but 80% of the puffing billy were adults! It is a very nice experience to go thru Denenong with it. The Yarra was a short sight seeing on the bus which is ok but the lunch is superb. Anyone wants to book on this trip make sure take the lunch version. However, the Healesville was a disappointment to us as it was raining and all the animals are in the shed probably starring back at us thinking these group of stupid people with umbrellas, breakers come to 'look' at us on raining day. Anyhow, the overall tour was great, the coach was great. I wished that when we arrive at Puffing Billing, we should have been told to browse and buy the merchandise store as the trip will not take us back to where we started. My kids miss buying the books and the toys of billy.... Btw, did I say the quick make shift morning tea (& biscuits & cakes) at denanong feeding the parrots and all other wild beautiful birds were great !

The train was silly and fun; the Yarra Valley wasn't very interesting and lunch was good but not great; the Healesville Sanctuary was great!

I loved the steam train ride! Healesville was great, but the lunch was a bit pricey!

Very good and interesting tour, did not see many animals at Healesville, train ride was very good.

I really enjoyed this trip. The highlight of the trip for me were the wonderful guides at Healesville Sanctuary who had so much knowledge about the animals and the environment. I did think that the trip organisers could have put in more effort though eg it was very cold on the Puffing Billy train. Knowing that this is typical weather in Melbourne for that time of year, blankets could have been made available.

Puffing Billy Steam Train and Yarra Valley were great. Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary was a bit rushed.

Puffing Billy was fun and amazing to know that they are being run by volunteers. Healesville was OK as that day was so HOT that most animals prefer to hide or sleep, so not much to see. Yarra Valley was stunning.

Puffing Billing and Yarra valley was fun. The time spent at Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary was a bit too short. We Only managed to visit a few of their native animals but we didn't cover the whole sanctuary. Wished that time spent there could be longer. Time there was only for 2 hours.

healesville wildlife sancturary is more like a farm, with just 2 wombats, n a few kangaroos.
the train felt like any other trains, other than the steam part, scenery along the way was ok not nothing spectacular
