Doing what: Mornington Peninsula Day Trip from Melbourne

Wonderful Mornington Peninsula tour by Bunyip with Claire and John (in-training) as our guides. With just 7 visitors, the tours was relaxing with many interesting points revealed by John who had a family house at Mornington Peninsula. Had a splendid wine sampling at Cups Estatea and a light and enjoyable lunch there. Highly reccomended.

Very enjoyable and scenic day trip. A number of short stops for photo opportunities and longer stops at Arthur's Pass, Strawberry Farm, Gardens and Mornington Pier. The devonshire tea at Arthur's Pass was most enjoyable and sitting there looking across the bay was very relaxing. At the Strawberry Farm we were each given a large punnet to pick our strawberries. Even though the wather in the weeks leading up to our visit had not been the ideal climate for strawberry growing the ones that we picked and consumed over the following couple of days were the sweetest that I have ever tasted. Gardens were good especially impressed by the Rose Garden. Stop at lookout to see across to the entrance of Bass Strait was worthwhile. Driver was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great trip and tour guide. Lunch very tasty. Hot springs is something I have always wanted to do and will do again. Would like to have seen more of Mornington Peninsula little towns etc. A little to much time sitting around waiting for bus to pick up other people from different tours. Jo

Doing what: Mornington Peninsula including Strawberry Farm Day Tour from Melbourne

The tour guidedriver was well organised and new a lot about the Mornington Penninsula. Lovely to have spent time and have lunch at the Lavender farm and we enjoyed morning tea provided at Arthurs seat. Plenty of wine to sample at the wineries.

Doing what: Mornington Peninsula Day Trip from Melbourne

Kurt, the tour guide, was great, but there really isn't enough in the Mornington Penninsula to warrant a whole day, unless an option such as kayaking is added on to the tour.

The lunch at the winery was good and the maze place was interesting.

Doing what: Mornington Peninsula Day Trip from Melbourne

Winery visited (The Cups) is but an average winery - not "famous" as stated on brochure. Least said about the quality of the wine, and its pricing, the better. All other places visited excellent. Very little commentary about the history, geological, cultural, indigenous inhabitants of the entire Mornington Peninsula area.
