A great trip, We were able to get qite close to the adorable penguins.

THis was a great idea. We really enjoyed this trip and the highlight was the encounter with the Penguins. Our Tor bus driver had a grt sense of humour which added to the fun .

A very friendly tour with a small group and a knowledgeable guide. Philip Island is beautiful and this tour takes you to places large coaches won't be able to get to. It's definitely worth upgrading to premium viewing to get a really close-up view of the penguins! :)

Many thanks to our driver who made this a very worthwhile trip. She was very well informed and kept us amused during the long drive to Phillip Island. Thank you Katie.

This is a must do tour if your visiting MELBOURNE, you get out of the city to see australian animals in thier natural habitat, the KOALA experience was my favourite, we needed a little more time there, and the penguins are a not to be missed evening, dress warmly. The one and only time ypu'll get close to penguins, enjoy

Doing what: Phillip Island Penguin Small Group Eco Tour from Melbourne

It was a great tour! The chocolate factory is fine but not really "Australian". The winery was very nice. Beautiful setting and the cheese and wine were very good. The Koala Sanctuary was very nice but if you are expecting to get up close to a Koala, you won't here. Our driver took us for a drive through the "Nobbies" which is the gorgeous coast of Phillips Island. The Penguin experience was outstanding! We did the special tour with a park ranger - maxiumum of 10 people. We were given binoculars which were really needed if you want to see the penguins close up. We had reserved front row seating for the penguins coming out of the ocean. We then got to go the Penguin Plus area to see the penguins close up. All the while we had on headsets getting all kind of great info on the penguins. You should at least do penguin plus. Otherwise, you will be in a large grandstand and won't be able to see much due to distance and darkness. We spent 3 weeks in Australia and this was one of our favorite things.

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip to Phillip Island. We liked the small bus - you don't waste time waiting for people to get on and off the bus. Our driver was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. We paid extra for the private ranger experience and were happy that we did. We sat in the front row and the penguins were very close to us. Over 2000 penguins came in that night. It was amazing!!!! We would definitely recomment this trip with this company.

This trip is a must! It doesn't matter which seats you buy, you get very close to the penguins once they have come up the beach. It's really nice to watch the penguins finding their nests when they return and it's very magical to see so many. The trip does run til quite late. We returned to Melbourne at 11pm. Do telephone the tour operator before pick up as my time was later than the voucher said.

Great tour ! We enjoyed it very much! The Phillip Island Penguin tour was a highlight of our trip to Melbourne!

From the time we started Pete the driver / courier expertly passed his knowlege onto us with an informed quiet gentleness which made one want to listen and learn. It was good to see the the eastern Kangaroos and feed them after seeing the western greys at Yanchap in Perth. The history of the area to Phillip Island was interesting with the nature reserve fasinating and of course the penguin experience was wonderful. A 'wet weather front came in' just as we were waiting for the Penguins so we were extreamly wet at the end of the night.Thank goodness we remembered our wet gear. It was a super experience which the rain did not spoil.

The star of the show was the penguins without a doubt. I would definitely recommend upgrading to the penguin plus viewing platform as it gives you a better view, Our tour guide Adrian was fantastic and extremely informative. The koalas were a bit disappointing and we have seen better in the wild. The kangaroos were very friendly and the cream tea was delicious.

This was a good combination of events -- from Koalas to wine to chocolate to penguins. The driver was informative and helpful and the trip was enjoyable.

Doing what: Phillip Island Penguin Small Group Eco Tour from Melbourne

We all thoroughly enjoyed the long day - 10 am - 10pm. Travvelled with 2 teenagers who were the only children on the coach but they enjoyed the trip as well. Great compare with the driver who was very personable and helpful. Penguins stole everybodies hearts and it was lovely to see what is a natural event capture in such an inobtrusive way.
Thoroghly recomment the visit to all

Doing what: Phillip Island Little Penguins Parade Evening Tour

It was great, the bus pick-up came on time, and little penguins parade was fantastic.

We (I and my wife) booked the day tour to Philip Island through Viator. Booking through Viator was very easy and we didnt face any issues. We went to the Philip Island with the AAT Kings tours.
We had a wonderful time at the Island and saw lot of little penguins. Needless to say the whole experience was out of the world. The landscape on the way to Philip Island is very beautiful and the places we visited prior to reaching Philip Island, were awesome.
Our tour guide was very friendly, funny and provided clear commentary through out the tour.
Philip Island is a beautiful place to visit, especially if you have little ones. I would recommend this tour to each and every visitor who plan to visit Melbourne, Victoria.
