Absolutely amazing experience. Some lovely stops on the way with some beautiful scenery. But, of course, the main attraction - the penguins - steal the show. It is a truly wonderful experience to see them in their natural environment. Something that will stick with me forever.
2 VERY GOOD TOURS ! BE SURE TO WATCH THE PENGUING PARADE ON PHILLIP ISLAND !
This is not just a tour to see the little penguins on Philip Island, it is a great way to enjoy the different things this lovely island has to offer. We had a great time thanks to our tour guide Katie, please pass on my sincere thanks! Thoroughly enjoyed the penguins but also the wine and cheese tasting, chocolate factory and spotting animals in the wild or parks. Thanks so much.
We had a great time! The driver was extremely knowledgeable, which was great for all the foreign tourists, and his tips about the actual viewing were 100% correct which meant that with a bit of patience we ended up almost on the beach with the penguins about 10 minutes after the first ones came ashore. I highly recommend the trip, despite the crowds everything was very well managed which actually made it a much better experience than I had assumed.
Phillips Islands was a great experience. I recommend getting the Ultimate Penguin Tour. You get binoculars, a private tour, and reserved seating right in front! The wildlife park was also great. Feeding the kangaroos was fun and the koalas are adorable. Spend the extra money to take a picture with one of them. Our tour guide, Roger, was great help and he made our experience more enjoyable!!
Meet at Federation square, no photography of penguins and late return (midnight) but excellent trip due to comfy transport, great stop offs (just beautiful), it's worth packing a picnic for the evening meal stop off (we ate on the beach) and take a jacket for the penguin parade as it can get chilly.
Definetely one of the greatest experiences of my life!! Phillip Island is an amazing place and see the penguins parade and wallabies spread everywhere is an opportunity of a life time. Must see!!!
Awesome tour totally recommend it. Great to see the penguins in their natural environment.
We had Colin who is an awesome guide who made it a fun and fact filled tour ! A lifetime experience to see kangaroos, the Penguin parade, Koalas, and a Tasmanian Devil !
Long tour, but worth every penny if you are looking for tour options from Melbourne. Our driver was also the tour guide, he's funny, accommodating and not over the top. The penguin parade was amazing, cuteness overload!
Took this tour on my first day in Australia. How nice to meet the native animals right away! Although it was cold at the penguin parade, I was prepared so it didn't bother me much. This was a great tour!
Short of time but still want to see Penguins? This is the tour! Comfortable bus, friendly and knowledgeable driver and guide, amazing experience seeing the penguins! A must do for Melbourne!
The best trip I have ever done. Seeing the penguins in their natural environment was amazing and an experience of a lifetime. I could have watched the little penguins for ages. You get binoculars to see them coming up onto the beach and get really close to them at other viewing points.
This was an excellent tour! We traveled in a coach bus with 48 people to a wildlife park where we got to feed kangaroos, take a picture with a koala, and see other cute animals. We stopped at various places along the way to Phillip Island and had the chance to see spectacular views of beach and the Nobbies. The penguin parade was amazing. We purchased the plus pass which included a free small drink, a guide book, and close-up seating. It was definitely worth paying the extra $20/person. Those little penguins are so cute! Our tour guide was very knowledeable and told us many stories along the way. He was also funny and friendly, and recommended a great fish and chips place for dinner. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Australia.
Nothing quite like seeing those little penguins heading towards their burrows! Great day all around and totally worth the time. Day starts off in Maru with the koalas, and kangaroos. We payed the extra money for the chance to pet the koalas. So soft!
