I have been to Melbourne before but on this visit I learnt things that even my friends didn't know about!!
New appreciation of street art as well as new places to come back and see. I really appreciated the history of the Yarra River.

When we visit a new place, we always take a familiarity tour. We have found that the best ones are walking tours and ours with David was no exception. David was very knowledgeable about many aspects of Melbourne and shared numerous interesting stories. His walking pace was appropriate and he made an effort to talk with each individual on the tour and call them by name. The tour was relaxed, but informative. When we first hit Melbourne, we thought it was just another big city. After the tour with David, we saw Melbourne's personality.
As we told David, it was the best value for our money since getting to Australia from Canada three weeks ago.

Thanks David!

Fantastic tour.
Efficient on time and great tour guide.
If you are a sports fan you will love this. Everything from architecture, history to modern day. You see the members areas and change rooms. Stories are told.
The lunch was also a surprise, it was fresh, tasty and yummy.
I really enjoyed the tour.

Our tour guide was so patient and entertaining! He explained thoroughly of the history that is behind the buildings and streets to us. It was a great tour! Plus the free hot chocolate, coffee, or tea at the best cafe always helps! =)

The guy who we walked with - sadly I forget his name - he was just great! Despite bad weather he was upbeat, full of info and more than willing to answer my 1001 miscellaneous Melbourne questions :)

Highly recommended, you will see things you didn't imagine!

A really great walking trip - the guide was knowlegable and friendly, we covered all the main areas of the city centre - I would recommend to anyone!
Also because it was a very hot day, the organisers had the forethought to call me and change the time to a morning tour to avoid the afternoon heat.

Dave was a great tour guide! He was friendly and informative. He had lots of stories to share about Melbourne - both past and present - and he shared them in interesting ways. We especially enjoyed seeing some "street art" in the laneways and appreciated the stop at the cafe. We learned lots about Melbourne. Even though we had been in Melbourne for 5 days already and had walked on some of the streets where Dave took us, we now understood what we were actually seeing much better. It was a very enjoyable 3 hours and we would definitely recommend this tour.

The walking tour was a really interesting, interactive way of exploring the city. Being a small group of six it was easy to ask questions and the tour was flexible in how much time we spent in a particular area.
We really enjoyed learning about Melbourne's street art culture and even spotted a few 'space invaders' on our own after the tour was over! Dave (our guide) was knowledgable and friendly and pointed out lots of places of interest for further discovery. It was great being able to walk around the alleys and laneways and we visited many 'hidden gems' within the city streets.
Great value, good time and a perfectly timed coffee break!!
