Doing what: Yarra Valley Wine and Winery Tour from Melbourne

Excellent trip! we had a G8 time at d winery ESP Domain Chandon!!!!! n we looking forward to join Viator for my next destination!!!!

The Yarra Valley wine tour was a lovely day out in country Victoria. The tour ran on time, was very informative about the area and the wines and lunch was delicious.

We had a wonderful guide (Adrian from Australian Pacific Tours). If it wasn't for his amazing personality and commentary, the Puffing Billy part of the tour would have been a let down. Yarra Valley was a hit as expected. :) However, for us a family of 2 adults and 2 children, it worked out perfectly as the kids had their train ride and the adults had their wine tour and tastings.

Great way to see the country and try some excellent wine.

really enjoyed our day in the Yarra Valley. Our driver and Tour Guide "Spud" was very informative and helpful.

This was a very exciting tour and enjoyed every drop of it, only 8 people in our group. Both the driver/guide and people at the wineries were very knowledgeable. When crowded our guide arranged for a quiet spot for mostly peaceful stating. Lunch at Domaine Chandon was very good. I'm glad I chose this over the tasting tour with a bus load of people.

The coach driver was fantastic.. Humorous and informative..The train ride was a real experience ..sounds, smells all reminiscent of the bygone days of steam. The lunch was a big rip off - a disappointment. It was supposed to be a 'spit roast' and we heard that they actually carved the meat from a spit roast and you had a choice of lamb, pork or beef. This was not the case - just a roast beef and the meal was small and nothing special. If I was to advise anyone to go on this trip I would say ' forgo the lunch' - The sanctuary was interesting with its own vet clinic where you can view real operations on wildlife - there were none scheduled when we visited though. We had the feeling that we were tourists travelling on the cusp of the 'busy' time and that all the good stuff we had kinda missed. If it wasn't for the coach driver Shane and the Puffing Billy train we would have really felt we paid far too high a price for the day.

It was a great day. lunch was lovely and the tour guide , Bret , was very friendly and informative.

The tour was good but we were expecting a smaller group. The web site said, "Join one of our Daily Tours which seats up to 11 people only. This gives you the opportunity to be on a flexible tour." This was misleading as there were about 22 people on board. The food at Rochford was excellent as were the wines and Yerring Farm winery was the best.

I highly recommend this tour. Service was perfect and the highlights were the Puffing Billy Steam Train and Chandon winery.

Perfect mix of activities and sights. Entertaining commentary by the bus driver "Dr. Phil". Buy the lunch at the winery....delicious. See all the main exotic Australian animals.

Super fun trip, very relaxing, the tour guide/driver was great and the wineries should not be missed. The puffing billy train was way too crowded but besides that, everything was amazing. Missing Melbourne now!

My tour guide John was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Would definitely return for another tour with the Australian wine tour group :)

Our tour guide Sandy made this a day to remember through her knowledge and infectious enthusiasm. Super lunch and a great finish at Chandon
