Tour by Bus was excellent, very interesting nforamtin was given during the tour.
Boat Tour was fun and info was very interesting as weel.
It was a great trip! The tour description on this site is accurate and we all had a great time.
The only inaccuracy is the length of the tour if you take the Cruise. Since they drop you off at Bayside for the cruise and only pick you up long after the cruise ends, the total length of the whole trip is closer to 8-9 hours. This is fine since Bayside is nice, but Viator should advertise this.
Awesome! Our Miami tour guide was very knowledgeable and I felt the tour itself was very extensive and worth its value. The Bay Cruise was also fun, our tour guide was entertaining.
Overall OK tour if you just want to get a general idea of where the rich and famous live or rather used to live in Miami and what the Everglades look like. Not nice: pick up was delayed for every leg of the daytrip (morning for island cruise 30 min and midday for Everglades 20 min. Tour is OK for people to get a general overview but particularly the Everglade part was too short. The actual trip to and from the Everglades took longer than being there. At the Everglades we only took a rather short tour by boat and had an even shorter alligator info show and were rushed back into the bus afterwards. Difficult to tell if this was due to all the delays beforehand or if the timeframe in general is that short. I would NOT recommend the tour for people who would like to see more of the Everglades than just taking a few photos of alligators.
the concept good, execution could have been better. more "down time" than expected made it a long day and could have then possibly then have avoided the rush hour mess.
I enjoyed the tour very much as did my family, however I am upset with Viator for arranging a bus pickup point only to have the transportation company "we do not pick up there". A reputable tour company would communicate better with the bus company and not mislead its customers on the pickup points. That being said everything else was nice and as advertised.
Good way to spend part of the day and see outside central Miami. Plenty of aligators on show with the opportunity to hold a baby gator at the end of the free show. Plenty of time after the airboat adventure to grab a snack at the local cafe before the hour or so jounrey back to the city.
I booked this trip for my parents who are on a vacation here. They seem to have enjoyed the tour. Sure feels good to see the Millionaire's row :)
Pick up of all customers took extremly long - around 90 Minutes. Then they changed the scedule and we had to wait another 60 minutes for the boat tour to start. After the boat tour we had to wait anohter 60 minutes (pick up was 30 minutes late). The the city tour startet: The driver was also the tour guide - and held the tour in 3 languages: very good english - good/broken German - and broken Spanish. All in all a very disappointing tour: Boat trip was good / city tour not! We spent (lost) a whole day on a tour that should last only 6 hours.
The trip description fails to mention you see all the sights from the inside of the coach, occasionally you can get off and walk around the sights. I would recommend this activity if you would like to go and see the celebrity homes / star island otherwise go and enjoy the beach instead. The Tour guide however was full of energy and really did make the trip fun. Tip: Be prepared for a late start.
Very disappointing. Transporter almost killed us going from hotel to shopping area..then the first thing on the tour was free time. Then we got on old Booze Cruze pirate ship for our tour around Biscayne Bay..then more free time..and then for the city tours..our drive never did the tour before..wasn't sure where he was going..really not good..will never book with this company again..and it's unfortuante because my husband and I are avid travelers..but this was the worse tour by far.
The day was well paced (some waiting).
We did the Biscayne Bay cruise in the AM and our guide was very informative, knowledegable and had a sense of humor. There were drinks and snacks for purchase. The afternoon took us to many sights you only read about and viewed homes of the rich and famous from the land side that you had seen in the AM from the water. Lunch in Little Havana, drive through Cocoanut Grove, etc. ,etc. Very enjoyable.
