The day was well paced (some waiting).
We did the Biscayne Bay cruise in the AM and our guide was very informative, knowledegable and had a sense of humor. There were drinks and snacks for purchase. The afternoon took us to many sights you only read about and viewed homes of the rich and famous from the land side that you had seen in the AM from the water. Lunch in Little Havana, drive through Cocoanut Grove, etc. ,etc. Very enjoyable.
Tour company was on time - even early! The staff was friendly and courteous. Some parts of the city tour didn't really take you anywhere, they just drove you through a park or area and pointed. Little Havana was totally not worth the stop. I would have rather stopped in one of the parks we saw.
I LOVED IT!! There are not enough words to describe how great it was! The tour guide was great and you could tell that he really loves Miami and wanted us to love it too. He was full of great information and showed us the best parts of South Beach, Downtown and Coral Gables. He went out of his way to show us unique sights, like the oldest hotel in South Beach. We even went to Little Havana, to Domino Park, and had some Cuban coffee! Bayside was beautiful, but I didn't have enough time there. I will have to go again myself. The cruise was good, but I did have to stand up to see some of the sights. The best part was the close up view of Fisher Island.
