Comment from Natalie Grant
Famous for beaches and clear waters, Miami naturally has prime fishing spots for you to take a breather between all the trekking between Art Deco buildings and fusion restaurants. If you need to turn the volume of your holiday down a notch or two, taking a fishing break is a reliable way to both collect your thoughts and get to know the more natural parts of the city you’re visiting.
North Lake in Tropical Park has been stocked for fishing and is full of catfish, bluegill, and largemouth bass. Other freshwater options are Urban Lake, Larry and Penny Thompson Park, and Amelia Earhart Park.
