Wonderful!
That was my second time in Key West (the first time I took a tour from a different company). The tour is well organized ans the tour guide is friendly. Also, there is a tour guide and a driver (in some of the tours it is just the driver and he is the person responsible to give touristic information). Another highlight from the tour is the sunset stop. It was so pretty!!! I already recommended it to my friends who were thinking about going to Miami. Excellent experience!
It was a very good day. It was long but you have alot to see so you need all the time. The activity was well run. would recommend this trip.
Awesome trip! The email confirmation gave a wrong time for us to be picked up so we missed the bus on the first day; after a quick call to Gray Line they rescheduled us for the next day.. The people at Gray Line were simply awesome, as was the entire tour! We would definately recommend this tour!
We really enjoyed going to Key West, however, I think it was too long of a drive for one day. We drove 3 hrs over and 3 hrs back for 5 hours there. An overnight would have been better for us.
Driver/tour guide irritated me within the first 45 minutes on the bus. I did the tour alone and at the last pickup he approached me, put me on the spot and asked me to move and sit with a strange man and give up my seat for a couple. I felt embarassed and gave up my window seat to sit in an aisle seat with someone else. The guide, Jose, apparently thinks that's it's okay to inconvenience a single person traveling alone vs a couple who got on the bus last. I was irritated the whole entire way to Keywest. Not only was I upset because I was unable to take photos from the window seat but at how calous I felt he was about asking me to move as not to inconvience the couple. I paid the same money for the tour as they did. Anyway, I did not let it taint the whole trip siince I did not have to deal with him for the 5 hours or so that I was in Keywest. However, next time I will save myself the aggravation and go ahead and drive like I first planned to do. It's the principle.
The pickup and drop off went smoothly. I would recommend cutting back on the time in Old Town, perhaps by an hour.
I did not think the bus driver was very engaging, unlike other trips I have been on with your company. No maps were passed out to passengers, except those going snorkeling. That would have been helpful.
Bus trip was ok though long, weather in key west was a bit rough so not the best day for snorkeling. Crew on the boat were very nice to us.
The trip is wonderful. But there is a problem with the driver for the return trip to Miami, he drived the bus too quick, he didn't respect the limitation of the speed and we have been afraid during the four hours of the return trip.
This tour belongs on your to-do list! The trip was wonderful from beginning to end. The tour guide/driver was very informative about the history of the keys and provided a smooth trip there and back. There was also enough time to explore Key West and taste delicious Cuban fare (make sure to dine at El Meson de Pepe at Mallory Square. The Cuban Pork is divine!). Prepare for a full day trip, as Key West is about 3-3.5 hours away from Miami. But it's well worth it!
