Whatever you may dislike about your average zoo – restrictive pens, species being kept in unnatural environments – you won’t find much of at Zoo Miami. Miami boasts one of the best zoos in Florida and in the country, and it’s easy to see why. Not only is Zoo Miami the only tropical zoo in the continental U.S., but zookeepers have made sure their own resident creatures are kept company with plants and animals from their home ecosystems.
