TOUR WAS COMPREHENSIVE AND GUIDE WAS KNOWLEDGABLE, FLUENT AND PATIENT. ONLY QUESTION WAS WHY SHE COULD NOT ACCOMPANY US INTO THE DUOMO WHEN MANY OTHER GUIDES WERE IN THERE WITH THEIR GROUPS.
The tour was well organized and although working to schedule, it did not appear rushed. I was sorry we did not go into the Duomo. We enjoyed it very much both guide and driver were first rate- thank you for a positive experience of Milan
The city tour was great with a good guide. able to see the duomo inside and out although, you can just get in on your own. The la scala is beautiful but its better if you go there with a concert playing. I just got this tour bec of the last supper tickets. I cant get the ticket with my time, with this tour, ill be able to fit it in my schedule. Youll go to the last supper and just sit down starring at the painting for 15 minutes with the guide telling a story about the painting.
First, the guide was great, friendly and knowlegable, BUT don't bother with this overpriced tour, do the walking tour if you really want a tour. You drive in a big circle and only have 15 minutes in the Duomo and the guide can't even go in with you, so you will end up going back. I recommend it for the Last Supper or you can get tickets on your own, but it does sell out.
It was good but overpriced. Going to the Duomo is free and just a train stop away and "The Last Supper" well, tickets for that can be bought at the door for about 6 euro and the way it's set up, you have to reserve a time and go in a group other people who also reserved that time
The tour arrangement is OK, but next time, we will consider other tour routing as the tour goes to locations that is publicly assessible except the Le Scala and the last supper, therefore, a shorter tour allowing just skipping the line would save us the time of walking to the Galleria and the Duomo both can be accessed conveniently.
Even if you think you know milan through the multiple guide books you've read, I think this tour might still surprise you. The many stories about la Scala, the Castello and Duomo and then finally topped off with the last supper - which was the highlight of my trip. Tour is definitely recommended!
Last Supper is fabulous to see. Unable to have guide with group in Duomo on a Saturday - but was able to go in on own.
The tour guide was excellent. The Last Supper and Duomo were amazing. La Scala and castle were interesting. Could have done without the galleria mall visit. Thanks.
Excellent introduction to Milan! Amy was well spoken and very experienced. We saw both II Duomo and the Last Supper by Leonardo. In Patricia Schultz's book, 1,000 Places to see before you die, she lists both of these sites as must-see for Milan. If you have more time, plan to tour inside Sforza Castle and take the elevator to Il Duomo rooftop. I highly recommend this tour!
It would have been nice to either go up to the top of the duomo or go inside the sforza castle museum
too big group, pay too much time on Duomo so don"t have enough time to other places (the last supper and the fort)
Great tour! , well organized and very easy going .The last Supper and Duomo incredible.
Not too impressed with "The Scala" The Vienna Opera House way better.
