Doing what: Milan Half-Day Sightseeing Tour with da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'
Our day started out poorly with news that the refectory museum (state) employees were on strike and we would not see the "Last Supper" frescoe as expected. Viator was a non-factor and the local agency, Zani Viaggi, would only offer reimbursement for the museum tickets (10 euros p.p.), but no total refunds. Most visitors opted to accept, although some had traveled from as far as Australia and Sweden just to see Leonardo da Vinci's painting. The city tour was a good highlight look at La Scala Museum and Theater, which we saw as a private group, the Castello Sforzesco, the Duomo, and the Galleria of shops. Our guide made the best of a difficult situation and added a special exhibit of art at the castle. As independent travelers, we appreciated the opportunity to get a feel for Milan before learning the tram system and venturing out on our own. It was also nice to get information from the guide about museum artifacts, a history of the castle, and a fun explanation of the famed tile depictions on the floor of the Galleria. We would have liked more time in the cathedral and, in fact, went back for a second look. It is one of a few in Italy that permits photos and has close access to crypts, paintings, and a magnificent organ. We heard from others that the Hop On Hop Off tour was not the best, so I think this is a good option and would recommend it.

Doing what: Milan City Hop-on Hop-off Tour
Not very organised seemed to have long waits for each bus, from the Duomo had to wait over 1hr. 30mins so only did the 1 stop.

Doing what: Milan Half-Day Sightseeing Tour with da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'
Apart from The Last Supper which is regulated by authorities to a limited time, the tour was a quick overview of several highlights. Do it on the first day of your stay so you can go back for a better look at the things you had to rush through, particularly the Duomo.

Doing what: Milan Half-Day Sightseeing Tour with da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'
The Tour Operator screwed up our day in Milan. We had a written confirmed tour for 9:30 in the morning from Viator. When we showed up, we were informed that they had overbooked the tour and that we had been moved to 2:30. We had planned to take the tour in the morning and then visit other sites that were not covered in the tour in the afternoon. Unfortunately, moving the tour to the afternoon both chopped up the day and kept us from being able to know the items that were not covered. For example, we knew that the tour included the Duomo, but we did not know that the tour would only give us an inadequate 5 - 10 minutes to view the interior and would not allow us to go to the roof. So we missed out on both of the highlights of Milan. The tour guide started out slow, but did an excellent job on the castle and the last supper description. Far too little time spent at the Duomo.

Doing what: Milan Half-Day Sightseeing Tour with da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'
Well organized tour but could have used more time at some venues like the Duomo. Seeing the "Last Supper" was the highlight of the trip and I am so thankful we were able to see it.

Doing what: Milan Half-Day Sightseeing Tour with da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'
We were only in Milan for a day and this tour was exactly what we had hoped for. The tour guide was very informative and spoke very good English. We visited a wide selection of places and had sufficient time in each one, although extra time at the Duomo to go up to the roof would have been an added bonus. The Last Supper viewing was superb. Only 20 people are let in at a time for 15 minutes with the tour guide explaining the details of the fresco. It was an unbelievable experience.

Doing what: Milan Half-Day Sightseeing Tour with da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'
What a wonderful surprise this trip was. Was expecting to see just The Last Supper - got a wonderful overview of the city of Milan - which is beautiful - steeped in history. Guide was very informative - pity though that the tour was bilingual - booked for an English Tour! Went back the next day to spend more time at Duomo because it was rather rushed on the Tour Day! Thank you Viator for such a great introduction to a beautiful city!

Doing what: Milan Half-Day Sightseeing Tour with da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'
This is the only way to see the Last Supper, there is a time binding on the tickets for 15 mins. When we went there all the ticket counters were closed and the signs said sold out so it was a good decision to get this tour. The Milan city tour was also very good, they took us to La Scala which was amazing and the Galerie Vittorio Emmanuel and Duomo were breathtaking.

Doing what: Milan Half-Day Sightseeing Tour with da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'
A nice overview of sights and guided tours of La Scala, Galleria, Castello, and info about the Duomo. The guide was very knowledgeable and the tour gave a nice overview of Milan. The highlight is Da Vinci's Last Supper. Finding yourself standing in front of this masterpiece is one of those moments in life you will remember forever. However, the drive around the streets didn't quite allow enough time to absorb enough, and it would have been easier to view certain historical references with an open top bus or glass top bus. The tour guide was extremely well-versed in the subjects, spoke very clearly and was very personable and agreeable to answer questions along the way. Overall, a very nice tour and would recommend this if staying in Milan.

Doing what: Milan Half-Day Sightseeing Tour with da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'
This was a very good trip, very informative and it was great to cover so many different locations and attractions with a well informed guide on a comfortable air conditioned bus. The only small complaint is that you only get 30 mins to see the Duomo. Luckily we had been there the day before and spent 3 hours in and on the Duomo to see it fully. The absolute highlight for me was The Last Supper, it's just breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Doing what: Milan Half-Day Sightseeing Tour with da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'
Originally thought tour started by the Duomo but began near a travel agency they contract with to do the tour. Had to confirm by phone 24 hrs in advance which was slight hassle since we didn't have a phone with us, however once we got loaded onto the bus and tour began it was very good. The La Scala was great, we walked the shopping mall in central Milan and then came upon the Duomo which was magnificent. Then to the castle, and we finished with The Last Supper. My wife and I both dreamed of seeing da Vinci's Last Supper and this was one of the highlights of our entire vacation. Our bus driver and tour guide were excellent and would recommend this tour.

Doing what: Milan Half-Day Sightseeing Tour with da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'
I only had a day in Milan and this tour was a great way to see much of the city. The guide was nice and knew the sights well.
The one shortcoming may be the lack of time at the Duomo. You only get a few minutes inside and certainly not enough time to go to the roof. I would suggest doing what I did and see the Duomo separately before or after the tour. You can go in some shops in the Galleria or look inside la Rinascente like I did.

Doing what: Milan Half-Day Sightseeing Tour with da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'
Our half-day tour was informative and exciting. We saw the magnificent gothic Duomo, the LaScala Theater and the "Last Supper". We ould have liked more time in the Duomo and less time with our tour guide. Other than that the tour as exciting.

Doing what: Milan City Hop-on Hop-off Tour
Milan is a beautiful city with a lot of old architecture. Duomo wa sthe highlight of the trip. As it was hot, we chose to spend time more in the comfort of the bus with commentary to learn about Milan.
