Swiss Alps Trips from Milan

This was a well-organized tour. The lunch was very good prior to departure and the scenery along the Bernina Express route was breathtaking! We felt a little pressed for time in St. Moritz, but other than that, I can't see how it could have been better organized. Our tour guide, Marcella, did a good job and was quite entertaining. However, she did have the tendency to go off on long tangents at times and seemed to have an "attitude" toward Americans. She let us know that she didn't think Americans were very friendly. Odd, because all of the Americans on her trip were very friendly and quite nice to her. At the close of the trip, Marcella acknowledged all of the countries with participants and said that they were all places she would like to go, or go back to; yet took the opportunity to slash America again, saying she has no interest in going back there. I felt this was out of line and unnecessary to voice. Although it did not ruin my impression of the trip or of Viator, it did cost Marcella a nice tip! I think Marcella needs to be more conscious of her audience. I am sure that Americans regularly make up a healthy percentage of her bookings.

Beautiful Trip and a nice break from the city. The guide was fantastic and the views incredible. Had to explore the day before the trip to find the tour office in Milan. when I called to confirm, the person answering the phone could not give me specific directions on how to find the local tour office. This was the only negative to the entire experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip through the Alps. Even although it was May and early summer, there was still plenty of snow on the ground, cascading waterfalls,picturesque Swiss villages tucked into green valleys. It was a memorable trip as was the bus ride return. The scenery and cultural info provided was both informative and enlightening on our way to the rail head.Our wine tasting and traditional pasta lunch recommended by our guide made an enjoyable break during the journey from Milan to the border and is highly recommended

This tour was one of the highlights of our 2 week vacation in Italy. The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful, the tour bus was new and clean, and the scenery was awesome. I highly recommend this tour.

This was my favorite day on our two week trip. The train ride was absolutely spectacular. The drive along Lake Como and through the Italian mountains to get to the train was also beautiful. Our tour guide, Angela, did a terrific job. She arranged lunch for those of us who wanted it in Tirano which was good and reasonable. It's a long day with a lot of sitting on a bus, but well worth it. If you do this tour, REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR PASSPORT! There was a gentleman on our bus who had a very expensive cab ride from Milan to Lake Como to catch up with the bus because he forgot his passport.

Loved this tour. I had an amazing guide. This is something you definitely should do if you're in Milan. However, don't go to the restaurant the guide tells you about. The food was not good and not worth the money. I was told by a Milanese guy that food from Southern Italy is better than the food from Northern Italy. He was right.

Great bus trip to Tirano, lunch there and then the train trip up the Alps to St. Moritz. Not much to do in St. Moritz and not a lot of time.

We all enjoyed the tour and sights , the tour guide was extremely knowledgable and entertaining. The only thing that was dissappointing was that the train we had did not have the full view windows that is shown and stated in your advertisement.

This was the most wonderful tour. From leaving Milano it was fun our guide Majella was fun and informative, at first we were not happy about not having scenic train but we ended up loving train with opening windows. The views made the tour, the stop in St Moritz was great and on the bus back saw a different side of mountain. Highly recommend this tour.

Tour itself was good. Fantastic view up the Bernina Express. Only comment would be that we wished that we had more time to spend at St Moritz instead of going to visit the church etc on the way there. 1 hour was certainly not enough to enjoy the beautiful town.
