I can't say enough how great our trip went. Viator came right on time 10 minutes early than what was originally set up. I was also expecting a tour bus, but viator sent us our own private car and tour guide. Sydney Smith was our tour guide and I highly recommend him for your tour, he took care of us

While I enjoyed this excursion, I thought that the tour guide moved a little too quickly across the rocks for us beginners. It was hard to try to watch his steps and look at the actual water fall.

I was w a group of 12 and we all enjoyed both parts of the excursion. I highly recommend this but much cheaper if booked online yourself. ..

From the tour description, I had expected to be able to walk around Ocho Rios and choose a restaurant for lunch before going to the Falls. However, there were 3 bus stops - at a small mall (we were given discount coupons), a pottery outlet and a local craft market - so if you are looking to shop on your own in Ocho Rios, this may not be for you. The lunch was at a pre-chosen restaurant with a lovely location by the sea, but the food was so-so and a bit expensive.
The Falls were beautiful and everyone enjoyed the climb. WATER SHOES ARE REQUIRED to climb the Falls and you can purchase them there.
The guide and the driver were great, and they picked us up on time.

We joined the tour at Montego Bay. An enjoyable day, the Falls are lovely and you can either climb up them or just admire from the viewing decks. There are a couple of places to get drinks and snacks. We were there for about 1 1/2 hours. There is a local craft market at the exit, which whilst pleasant if you want to shop, it is unavoidable as you have to walk through it to get to the coach park. The locals were polite although rather pushy as they tried to get you to look at their stalls etc. Take care if you walk down to the beach area, there are various boat trips offered and also 'other' things on offer as well. The lunch stop was decent and we had jerk chicken with rice. Bob Marley's Nine Mile - it takes a while to get there, in fact a couple of hours, scenery is pretty along the way. Bob's house is interesting, albeit a tourist trap. You are able to buy various souvenirs and there is also a bar which offers a Bob Marley cocktail for $10 (you get to keep the glass). There is also 'other things' on offer from a window, and this was made clear by the tour guide, who described it as 'everything is legal'. Well it isn't so caution required! There is no pressure to partake in the smoking, we didn't, however most on our tour did and smoked it around the complex. In summary, a pleasant day trip, long journeys involved , would I have done it if I knew what it was like? I would have done the Falls but not the Nine Mile.

This is the third time we have went to Dunns River. I really enjoyed the first two times!
This time there was only one guide for the climb and she was quite distracted and too busy.
I believe that it was just due to busy time of year.
Also I had purchased the Dunns River Falls and Ocho Rios Shopping tour, Never did get to the shopping tour, The guide said he didn't know anything about it and when I got back to the hotel, the Sales lady siad she couldn't help me.
I have contacted Viator but have not received a response at this time.

Dunns river falls was so much fun..the guides there make it fun ..the shopping part wasn't all the great but overall a great tour ...driver n tour guide were awesome

It was a great way to experience Ocho Rios. The guides were very friendly and our driver Tony was the best, he gave us an educational tour of the city and top us to a really great place to shop.
