Located on the north coast of Jamaica, Ocho Rios is a popular port of call for cruise ships. Expect lots of shopping; Ocho Rios has numerous craft markets and shopping bazaars to accommodate the cruise ships' passengers. When you've had your fill of haggling, head to the beach near the Ocean Village flea market or the small beach at the harbor pier - the snorkling is good here. The beaches offer various water sports, you can find some scuba diving opportunities here, too.
A must-do at Ocho Rios is Dunn's River Falls. The waterfalls are very popular, but their startling beauty, cold water and surrounding fauna make up for the the heavy tourist traffic. In general, Jamaica is beautiful, but Ocho Rios and Dunn's River Falls are particularly so. The hiking is highly recommended. The Falls are about three miles away, accessible by taxi or tour bus.

Enjoyed this a lot. Shopping was good, but you get a little bambarded at the Craft Market. Don't think you will find a deal there, so don't bother saving your gift shopping till then. The Falls were amazing and beautiful. Definately value for your money on this tour.

The most well-known restaurant in Ocho Rios is Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, sister to the one in Montego Bay. The second deck has a jacuzzi and a two-story slide that plunges partiers into the swimming pool below.
If Jimmy Buffett-style fun-in-the-sun isn't your speed, you can book a day trip to Kingston from Ocho Rios that includes a stop at the Bob Marley museum.
