The tour runs for 3 hours and gives you a really good view of the city. You do have stops where you do get out to view sites.

Excellent Tour. Highly recommended. we visited many sites and have an overview of French architecture and many other Churches. We we went to 4 main stops and rest in bus. I wish it would be open bus, but i think there are no open buses in Montreal or Canada like NYC. Tour Guide was good with French Ascent. I recommend anyone who would to visit Montreal as it is easy, convenient before you plan self tours for specific site.

Good tour to discover the city in a bus (~30 participants). You will see most of the "tourist spots" in Montreal and the bus will stop from time to time to take pictures.

Everything was great. The tour left on time, hit all the major siteseeing spots and allowed us some time at a few spots (Notre Dame Cathedral, for one) to spend quality time viewing. Unfortuantely, the weather wasn't great, so some of the views from Mont Royal were limited. The tour guide was very pleasant.

Terrific tour with a great tour operator. He was willing to translate from the French to English anytime we got lost in translation. I have no hesitation at all in recommending the tour and our guide who was both informative and funny! Unfortunately when he recounted the history of Montreal (a very long story) - it was only in French so I think it would be nice to have a recorded version in English.

Our tour guide was AWESOME!
I took my parents (who were visiting from out west) on a tour of Montreal, since I haven't had the chance to see much of it myself, and we learned quite a lot and got to see some amazing things. I appreciated the tour guide and the photo stops, but this tour was certainly lacking in many respects and didn't live up to expectation.
1. This was billed as a 3 hour tour, but we were back at our hotel after 2.5 hours.
2. The bus wasn't as clean as it could have been, and the windows weren't washed, meaning that we couldn't see as much of the city sights as we wanted. On the website this is billed as a tram tour, and so being in a bus -- that wasn't heated very well -- was a disappointment.
3. Since we still had 30 minutes left, I felt like we should have been able to take more photo stops at Old Montreal, or perhaps stopped at a few more churches that were pointed out to us.
4. It would have been better if our tour guide weren't also our driver, as I was apprehensive about asking questions whilst the bus was moving for fear of distraction.
It's an easy way to see the city; our tour guide's sense of humour was right up my alley; the hotel pick-up and drop-off was great and very convenient; and we learned a lot about the city in a short amount of time. That said, I wouldn't go again unless we were a) guaranteed the same tour guide; b) guaranteed a different route; and c) guaranteed the full 3 hours with more photo stops.

The tour was excellent and the driver was very Knowledgeable. I would've liked to have been closer to the St. Joseph's oratory so you could go up and look inside of it instead of being in the parking lot so far down below. At times it was difficult to understand the translators English. Ovreall good

Excellent way to get a snapshot of all the sights in a relaxed fashion. Great to do on the first day of your trip so you get a better idea of areas you want to explore further.

There was not much to this tour. Only two or three stops and the surprise admission cost to get into the church. There was no real explanation of the history of the sites given. I got more from the cab ride home than anything on this tour. Very disappointing.
