Tour could have included more structure. Too brief for stops without a guided review. The tour itself included good stops. The driver/guide was good for the tour, but more detail at stops would have added to the value. Special note: we needed more detail about what to look for in parking at the beginning of the tour.

We got what we later found was the last bus at 1pm so it was not Hop on hop off we had to go round.

We took the tour end of September. So the first bus left at 10 a.m. and the last at 2p.m. Unfortunately also the frequency of the bus was about 60min. So you have to plan your stops briefly in advance, to be able to see the wanted sights. The ticket is valid for 2 days, but compared to other cities you get more for ryour money. What we also disliked is the fact, the during the marathon weekend you could not get from the bus. So you had to take the 2h tour en block. We think it is too much money for for what you get.
For example in Chicago you get a 3 day ticket incl. a free T-Shirt or in Toronto you also get a 3 day ticket incl. a island cruise for almost half price.

NOT ENOUGH TIME SPENT AT THE TWO STOPS. COULD HAVE SPENT SOME TIME AT THE ORATORY OF ST JOSEPH OR MORE TIME AT THE PLACE DE NOTRE DAME SINCE THE TOUR OPERATOR TERMINATED THE TOUR A HALF HOUR EARLY AND WE HAD TO WAIT AT THE STATION FOR ,OTHER BUSES TO RETURN BEFOTRE WE WERE TAKEN TO OUR HOTELS. THE TOUR WAS ALSO NARRATEED IN BOTH FRENCH AND ENGLISH. COMMENTS MADE FROM ENGLISH ONLY CUSTOMERS THOUGHT THAT MORE TIME WAS SPENT IN FRENCH THAN IN ENGLISH. SINCE I AM BILINGUAL I KNOW THAT IT WASN'T SO. yOUR APPLICATIONS GIVE THE IMPRESSION THAT IT WOULD BE ONE LANGUAGE ONLY THE ONE INDICATED BY THE CUSTOMER.
THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT POINT SINCE MY WIFE UNDERSTANDS ENGLISH ONLY AND THOUGH ALSO THAT MORE TIME WAS GIVEN TO FRENCH.

Beautiful city and a great tour guide but a lot of hassle to start the tour. We spent over an hour driving around the downtown core picking up passengers then were dropped off near Gray Line and no one seemed to know where the bus was that we were to use. They finally got it straightened out but it was time consuming and very confusing.

The tour was 45 minutes late due to having to wait on two people??? The three hour tour ended up being a two hour tour. We almost missed our afternoon tour due to the delay. The bus driver was not at fault for the bus leaving late it was the Greyline bus complany!!!!

Didn't show up at our hotel to pick us up, so we had to run to the bus at the last minute, several blocks. The narrator on the bus was not particularly informative and he had a definite anti-Catholic, anti-religion slant, which I as a tourist did not appreciate. We also had to wait an hour for the pick up off of St. Catherine St. in the afternoon which put us one hour short at the end of the day, which made us miss the last bus of the afternoon at the Oratory. We had to find our way back. We called and got a rather snotty girl who basically said it was our problem being stranded at the Oratory at 3:30 p.m. I would not recommend Viator--disorganized, tardy and not very nice people. So much for the "ugly American"--we saw the ugly Canadian up close and personal.

Not a very dynamic tour guide. The young couple we were traveling with fell asleep during the tour! Also, the tour guide was not interesting nor informative.

Well worth it as we had never been to Montreal before. We KNOW we saw a lot more on the tour than we could possibly have seen by ourselves within the same 3 hour time frame.

Loved every minute! Our first impression was ' why did we book 3 nights here?' We were a bit disappointed especially after Quebec. But how wrong could one be! We got on our Hop on Hop off bus and realized what a great city Montreal really is. We loved it. So much to see. Beautiful city and great food. Loved the markets near the port. Had to brush up on my schoolgirl French though as everyone speaks to you in French and expects you to as well.
