Doing what: Communist Moscow: Evening Walking Tour
Very interesting tour- told the story of the rise and fall of Communism in a methodical way that was engaging and logical- I really understood why things happened the way they did. Highly recommend as a nice evening activity when the other attractions are closed.

Doing what: Moscow Metro Tour
Excellent tour guide
The metro was stunning - we'd read about it but hadn't been underground in Moscow. Our guide was knowledgeable, and gave us historical information about the areas above ground as well. One complaint only - Viator subcontracted with Capital Tours, and their prices were $12-16 equiv. less (depending on whether cash or credit). Our tour was on a Sat. and met at Capital Tour's office, which was closed. We were the only ones on the tour (nice!) but as our guide was a few minutes late we began to wonder if we were at the right place, etc, and no one answered the contact phone because it was the weekend and the office was closed. Past that, we highly recommend the tour - the Moscow metro should not be missed. Not all stations are seen, but you definitely get a sense of what is underground and even how to use the system if you haven't done it before (nothing is in English, so it can be intimidating).

Doing what: Communist Moscow: Evening Walking Tour
This tour was great! It was a very cold night in Moscow when my sister and I went on this tour with one other person from Argentina. The guide was fun, interesting and full of knowledge. The tour really gave us a good background to the history of Moscow during Communist times and showed us important buildings we would have never known to look for. It was worth the time, money and being in the cold night air for this experience.

Doing what: Moscow Shooting Experience: Shoot an AK-47 at the Central Shooting Club
This tour was great and we really enjoyed it. The only downfall was it took nearly 45 minutes of walking and catching subways to get there.

Doing what: Moscow City Tour
The tour guide was satisfactory in pointing out the sights. In driving past, there was often only time to say: on the right we have x; on the left we have y. But the guide could have done more to engage with us and on the photo stops to give us a bit more information and historical detail of the buildings and location.
Nevertheless, reasonably priced for a Moscow tour and a good way to get an overview of central Moscow.

Doing what: Moscow City Tour
A great introduction to Moscow! Just the meeting point to be a bit more precise, such as meet at Karl Marx statue...etc..
But higly recommeded for all travelers!

Doing what: Moscow City Tour
The guide was really boring, could barely hear and understand what she was saying, reading some textbook info instead of adding personal touch to the tour. The bus was small and not comfortable. People where waiting for the guide, she was late. The tour was overbooked, so several tourists were left outside (it was raining). Worst tour. Needs a lot of improvement.

This could have been a total disaster. The directions given for finding the tour bus were so unclear that we spent an unhappy 20 minutes running round a square full of buses trying - and failing - to find ours. It was sheer luck that we eventually found the right one, almost 10 minutes after its scheduled departure. And then we wished we hadn't found it as the guide was an unpleasant woman who seemed to hate her job, and the bus was old and battered.
This was our only disappointment with Viator, and we couldn't possibly recommend this tour to anyone.

Doing what: Moscow City Tour
This tour was a joke. Out of the 13 advertised stops we only had 5 of them. The guide was rude and it was like a formula 1 tour through Moscow. Only 1 or 2 minutes at each stop. We had to book a new Moscow tour the next day in our hotel to see the sites. Very, very dissapointed in this tour. Avoid!
