Such a convenient way to see the city. I saved the Royal Palace for the end of the day, that allowed me time to take a walking tour in the morning at the Marienplatz stop,which I also recommend doing. There is a tour office right under the clock,actually there are tour guides all over the square. Study the pick up times for each stop to make the best of your time, and make sure you know the last pick up time for the day.

Nice tour, easy to find stops and starting point, a good way of discovering Munich if you don't have much time on your hands.
The famous areas seem to be covered, castles, posh areas, student areas and so on...
However, I did feel like it was a little short, maybe other things could have been explored but after all, I don't know Munich really so maybe pretty much had been seen on this tour. Don't really have one reason to complain, I enjoyed myself, so go for it!

Iain was an amazing guide, he was full of information that ranged from historiacial fact, sarcastic commentary, to local fun stuff. He knew so many tourist stops as well as local hideouts.There was plenty of time to explore Munich's outskirts. Great length and plenty of breaks with the opportunity to have a drink stop.

We had difficulty in locating the bus stop at the nearest point to our hotel: Marienplatz.
Fortunately, the Information Centre was able to tell us of the pick-up point. I strongly recommend that you incorporate the details for future users of the service which was otherwise excellent.

I liked seeing Munich and this is a great way to do it. Unfortunately the commentary is live in English and German. It depends on the guide you get how much is in English spoken and how easily you can understand them. Several of the guides spoke great English and were full of knowledge. Others were difficult to understand and did not give as great of a tour.

it is an organized tour which includes a long route and a short route which is inner city only. I will definite recommend the tour to anyone who comes to Munich on first time.

The tour was very informative. Since the weather was beautiful, the bus top was open, and we really enjoyed the views. Only suggestion is for some of the tour guides to speak their English just a little slower and more clearly.

The tour was interesting. It gave a behind the scenes look at Munich. My son and I learned a great deal about the way the city was built and also some of the horrible pasts that led to the belief there are ghosts around Munich.

We did the Grand Tour so we had both routes. The guides were very helpful and friendly! The outer tour was better for transportation between sites (BMW museum, Olympic Park, etc.) but the inner tour of the city center was so informative! It was also a great alternative to renting a car since you can hop off at any of the locations around town.
