Comment from Zoe Smith
1. On foot
Getting around Munich on foot is easy in the city center with the city’s main squares, Karlsplatz and Marienplatz, linked by a pedestrian shopping zone and encompassing many of the city’s most famous landmarks. The Neues Rathaus and its famous Glockenspiel clock tower, the legendary Hofbräuhaus beer hall and a cluster of historic churches are all easy stop offs on a walking tour.
