This tour was a dream come true. It was a once in a lifetime experience visiting all these beautiful places in Italy. Maria, our tour guide, was excellent and very knowledgeable. The price was excellent as compared to the tours on the cruise ship. I would recommend this tour highly and would definitely use Viator again.
My grandson and I took a lesiurly trip to Naples to pick up other passengers and then proceded to Pompeii. I was amazed at how it has changed since the last time I was here five years ago. From 1 stand selling cameos to a bunch of businesses selling everything. The tour was was well structured and Andrea was very animated and kept us moviing. He knew all the short cuts and moved us into the heart of the various ruins to provide us with up close contact with the various antiquities to see. There was time for picture taking and discussions. I wish I had more time. I want to go back.
Gianni, my Driver, and Maria, my Tour Guide provided a wonderful day! They are professional, friendly, and informative. I can not express an opinion high enough of the day they provided. I sincerely enjoyed myself in their company. The scenery is beautiful - photos barely capture it. One breath-taking vista/sight/tour after another. Have full confidence booking this excursion - and have a wonderful time!
We ended our 18-day Italy vacation with this 8-hour tour and absolutely loved it! Our driver was so pleasant and knowledgeable and spoke English very well. The scenery was just breathtaking. Better then any pictures we've ever seen! It was a wonderful way to end our stay in Italy. We will definitely use Viator in the future.

The trip was simply fantastic - we had the right weather, the right driver and the right car. And Lunch was also superb at a local Italian - much better than a "Coach Party Trip"

We were cruising on a ship that was coming into Naples and decided to do a private tour, not using the boat. This tour included all of the cities listed in addition, we had a stop at Pompeii for 2 hours.. Our driver Bruno was the best! He was waiting for our entire group as we walked off the gangway. He spoke very little English but knew exactly where to stop for some amazing photos and could communicate enough with us that it was not a problem.. We enjoyed a Restaurant Bruno took us to, which was amazing! The owners came out and talked with our group of 11 and gave us Limoncello shots on the house! The meal was amazing - all homemade pasta! Not too mention the best tiramisu I ate in Italy! The scenery was beautiful, a look out the patio over the sea from up high on the mountain side. Our entire group thought this was a very memorable excursion. We would highly recommend. It is also well worth the stop in Pompeii, Viator was able to accommodate our request, Thanks Viator!
Amazing! Our driver, Antonio, was just fantastic. He spoke excellent English and had so much knowledge about the area. He helped us understand what we were seeing and gave excellent recommendations for shopping, eating and drinking cappuccino. We were able to go where tour buses cannot and our group had the best day ever on the amazing Amalfi Coast.!
This is a wonderful excursion - beautiful scenery. We had the best guide (Rosario) and he made it a an unforgettable day. He pointed out all the great points of interest and took us to the best places to get pictures. Highly recommend this!!
Excellent tour overall. Our first guide, Maria, took us for the first part of the trip, a city tour of Naples. Then we were driven to Pompeii and assigned a second guide, Georgio. He was great in presenting the ruins' info in a fun and informative manner. His guided tour allowed us to appreciate the ruins more than by simply walking through the ruins by ourselves. We fully enjoyed the time in Pompeii as a result. This tour includes picking you up from the port city, so it's a great choice if you are on a cruise that has Naples as one of the port cities (like we did). I highly recommend this tour to anyone.
This excursion was the BEST of our entire Mediterranean cruise! At first we were not sure what to expect since it was not booked through the cruise's excursions. After researching and reading all positive reviews we decided to be adventurous and go with it. We were not disappointed! Our driver Rosario was just outside the marine terminal (well dressed and with our name printed on a sign). He immediately introduced himself and went over the itinerary for the day. His English was great!! As he drove to he told us about history and explained sights of interest. As we stopped in the different towns, he would designate a "meeting" spot and left us for about 1 hour to explore the town on our own. I asked him to recommend a nice restaurant and he took us to an amazing local place with a magnificent view. The food, the view, the wine....ah!!! It was a perfect day, the BEST tour and HIGHLY recommended!!!!!
gustavo, our driver, was a delight! the restaurant he made reservations for in ravello was perfection. we had just a great time. so glad we did not attempt driving ourself. well worth the$.
