Naples is the birthplace of pizza, so it stands to reason that eating copious amounts of pizza should be on your list of things to do while in the city. There are pizza places all over the city, and – truth be told – it’s harder to find a bad pizza in Naples than it is to find a great one.

Neapolitan-style pizza is served whole – no slices cut into it – and each pie is meant to be serve a single diner. The extremely thin crust can be cut relatively easily with a knife and fork (which you’ll find at your table), and most people cut individual bites rather than cutting slices to pick up.
