Really knowledgable staff, was great being picked up and dropped of at my hotel. Had a great day. Pizza lunch was disappointing but I would still go again.

Not bad. It was very knowledgeable and even though we were running late they gave us enough time to explore.
The lunch quality was poor though.

I would not recommend this tour.While the pick up from the hotel was helpful, the only highlight was the portion to Pompeii.The guide was okay.The rest of the tour included driving to the volcano, where the tour guide promptly dropped us off with no guidance.This tour was expensive and not worth it!

This was one of the highlites of our cruise. The only negative was getting on the bus. The directions were not good but fortunately we had an Italian help us by calling the tour company. The pickup spot was excellent (right in front of the port entrance doors) but the directions to find it were not. Guide was very good.

We learned a great deal of information about Pompeii and Sorrento that we would not have learned otherwise. We even had a private tourguide (Maria) and driver to Sorrento, which made the entire experience even better. Lunch at the nearby pizzeria was ok, although we didn't book this trip based lunch

Pompeii is a place where you pay for a ticket and walk in, I would have been hopeless without this tour. I think the guide knew more about the history than the people employed on site! He knew intricate details about why things were built the way they were and how people lived. I loved it.

A highlight of our trip. Excellent service. We were notified the previous evening of our pick-up time and both guides (Marie-Luise and Maria) were highly professional and pleasant. The tour was well-put together and made for a great day's enjoyment.

The tour guide was wondering. The experience was great. My train from Rome to Naples was a bit late by 15 minutes and they waited for me outside the station.
From now on for any tour outside North America I will first contact viator.

Our arrival date was changed while we were on the cruise and we were concerned we would be out the money we paid and not be able to participate in the excursion. Viator changed dates at last minute and we had an awesome tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Pompeii. Highly recommend.

Our guide was so enthusiastic and knew so much! He really made the history interesting and accessible. Lunch was a bit of a let-down, but the quality tour really made up for it. The view from Mt Vesuvius, and looking down into the crater is amazing!

All our group felt the tour guide was slightly amateurish and didn't really know lots of techinical details. We went on a tour of the Colosseum a few days later and the guide was fantastic. The difference between the two was huge.

Very slow getting there. Took a 20-30 min tour of Naples in the bus before we left, which cut time out of Pompeii and Sorrento. Constantly waiting for others in the group and saw very little of Pompeii. Sorrento was a ghost town as the city shuts down from 1-4. Never did any alone/shopping time.
