This was one of the most awesome things we have ever done. 8 of us took the Sub Adventure . The crew was very informative and helpful, they made you feel safe the entire trip. We took the adventure may 10, 2012 which was my birthday, couldn't think of anything else I would have wanted to do that day. I had 7 great friends and meet several other great people onboard. Thanks
We were off a cruise ship and we did not get picked up and had to pay extra for a cab. Tour was just ok. Says 5 hours but that is travel time and the water was rough to snorkel.
Great Excursion all the way around for the price. The details given on the website are exactly what you get. The group that took us was extremely friendly and accommodating. Snorkling was awesome, complimentary lunch was fresh and tasty and the bartender served us a Bushwacker which was over the top. The island itself was very clean, lots of hammocks to relax in and most importantly air conditioned restrooms!!!! The only problem we had was the excursion was moved from one day to another and we didn't find out until no one showed up to shuttle us to the dock! Fortunately, we only had to walk from our hotel about 1/2 block to the excursion office to re-book the event.... we were all glad we did and even better.. the original day was cloudy.... the day we actually went was beautiful weather, so all worked out well in the end.
We were on a day cruise ship visit to Nassau sailing at 5pm so booked this 3 hour afternoon excursion scheduled to be from 1.15 - 4.15pm. It was 30 minutes late arriving (no reason given) so we only had time for the city tour and did not get to see the flamingos. Apart from visting the fort most of the trip was driving around the streets, not a lot of interest to take in although the driver/guide was good fun. Not good value for money in our view
We enjoyed the tour. The Bus opertator was very knowledgeable and acted as our tour guide. We could see and get historical info of important places on the tour. It was a time well spent and got more than our money's worth. We will recommend Vitaor to all our friends.
GREAT snorkeling trip! We absolutely loved being able to be in the water with the carribbean reef sharks. It was amazing. The staff at Stutart Cove's was friendly and helpful. The transport from our cruise ship was on time and great, as was teh staff at the Dive shop. The captain and his crew on our snorkeling boat were incredible. :)
Would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who plans a trip to Nassau. I cannot wait until my children are a bit older so they can as well.
Cons:
Had to wait over an hour at the Hilton Hotel to get picked up for the tour.
Pros:
Everything else!! Feeding the stingrays from the shore, watching them feed the sharks, a drift snorkel and a delicious grouper lunch, we couldn't ask for a better day!
Tips:
When they say they are going to start feeding the sharks grab your camera and wrap the string around your wrist! One lady dropped hers when she jumped back!
