The museum features a range of art from mainly Bahamian artists, concentrating on works from the late 20th century onward. The collection holds work in a diverse array of media, including ceramics, paintings, photography, sculpture, and textiles.
The gallery is housed in a beautifully restored 1860s villa. If you want a break from the beach, this is the perfect place to go to find out what Bahamian culture is all about.
