Seven Mile Beach in Negril
Jamaica’s famous Seven Mile Beach is located on the shores of Negril. It’s the longest continuous stretch of powdery white sand on the island and despite its name, Seven Mile Beach only extends for about four miles (6.4 km) along the coast. This idyllic palm-fringed stretch of sand was a popular hippie hang-out during the 1960’s and has since become one of Jamaica’s top resort destinations, though it still retains its laid-back Caribbean vibe.

With its beautiful natural setting, clear Caribbean waters and a coral reef system just offshore, Seven Mile Beach is a favorite destination for snorkeling and water-sports.
