Our guide Andrew a young man with semi-spiked hair and a Brasil tshirt was perfect - knwoledgeable without being intrusive. I learned much about India as well as Delhi from him. He and the driver were extremely flexible and fit not only the Akshardam Temple but other items into the flex schedule, since we had a previous one day Delhi tour. He also selected a great place to eat. We were well take care of in every way, and in Delhi that is no small task...
This was a great tour. I got some good suggestions for places to see through the guide on the trip to the Taj Mahal the day prior. I had other ideas through the scheduled tour of Dehi, and the guide on this tour had suggestions of his own. This guide was very professional. He was highly knowledgeable and very accomadatiing. He gave us as much time as wanted in each place. He was willing to make sudden additions to the tour and was very pleasant to spend the day with. The mosque in Dehli and the Sikh Temple are important places to see. The highlight was a walking tour of colorful and active Spice Market. Our guide explained all of the various spices, how they are used in cooking and their medicinal purposes. It was another exciting Viator tour.
Excellent choice by us even if it is a bit more expensive that other tour opertors in Delhi. Got to see and visit all the things in comfort. Our guide added great value to the experience with his knowledge of all the locations visited. Would recommend
Young guide with not much enthusiasm. We felt like he was just there to fulfill an assignment, and was barely tolerating Americans in his country.
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour of Delhi with my guide Avi. Travelling alone as a single female I felt comfortable and safe the whole time. I was able to travel to some places of my choice and also some that Avi had recommended. I'd definitely recommend the Ghandi museum. Thank you Avi!
It gave us the flexibility to go where we wanted and see new things!
Wonderful to see all the landmarks both historical and current with a concise background.
Informative and interesting day, with sightseeing and interesting experiences, including a cycle rickshaw and sampling samosas in the street market.
Car was poor and we had to ask for seat belts that were tooked in the boot. These were very dirty. The guide though Mr Ali was magnificant and not only had good knowledge but took notice of our needs at all times.
A definite must to see the local India, not the tourist made visits. Without a guide, we would never have known about the local streets or shops. Great tour.
Highly recommended. Guide was excellent. Had a great day with him..
Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Our guides were very pleasant and knowledgeable and made us feel really welcome. They also didn't try to push us into affiliated shops to buys goods which was a welcome relief. Would highly recommend.
This was an interesting and informative tour. There are a lot of great sights in Delhi (Old and New) and both the guide and driver were excellent. The only problem with this tour and others is that you are taken to shopping areas when you do not want to shop. If I wanted a shopping tour I would have ordered it.
Good to have a guide if you have never been. Have a list of places your interested in seeing and your guide will take you there and show you the ropes.
