Perfect organisation, great value for money

The highlight of any trip to India must include a visit to the Taj Mahal. This tour suited our needs perfectly. Our driver Sadrughan, picked us up at the hotel and drove us ALL the way to Agra, where we joined our guide, Shyem. We Visited The Jigurudey Temple, the Taj Mahal, and the Red Fort, directed very capably through the sites by Shyem. One of the great surprises was that he was expert in knowing where the best picture-taking locations were, and even took some of our most memorable pictures. We loved it all!

Great trip, well organized, nice guide!
The driver was also reliable, just forgot my cap in his car,;..
Just maybe a little more water would have been nice,...

had a blast!! loved the taj.. amazing tour and guide

Thanks for arranging the two day Agra tour. Everything went quite smoothly, though I did not expect such a long journey to and from Delhi. The driver however was always prompt or early and pleasant, treating me with great courtesy and very concerned for my comfort. He was friendly and despite limited English, he communicated very well. The guide was OK, but seemed to be a little low energy and repeating a script, rather than leading a tour. He asked questions, but did not really listen to the answer. He did a nice job at the Agra Fort, explainng the history of this site. I really, really appreciated his assistance at the Taj Mahal, where we arrived around 4:30 pm and he whisked me past the hawkers and long lines and into all the important places at the site then he left me on my own for 30 minutes just as the sun was bathing the monument in sunset colors to just take it all in.We then went to the obligatory Marble factory visit. The next day's visit to Fatehpur Sikri was pretty cursory. Overall found him not good at relating to the customer. The three star hotel was OK and the meals also were just average.

I would have to recommend this trip to anyone visting for the first time. All the hassle is taken out and the sights can be enjoyed with no worries about arrangements..
Taj Mahal and Amber Fort are the absolute highlights and will stay in my memory forever. Another, and unexpected, highlight was the traffic. An overwhelming mixture of livestock, millimeter driving and 'ghost-traffic' also made a lasting impression. Only the skills of the very courteous driver prevented a large number of casualties.
On the downside (hence not 5 stars), the hotels (especially the one in Agra) were substandard and the guides insisted on bringing me to shops for the commision part of their (small) income.
But, all-in-all, unforgetable .....

Not quite sure how to rate this tour. We got our money's worth at the Taj Mahal, so the whole trip was worth the time and discomfort of travel. Our car was very small, and for the two of us scrunched in the back seat it was a challenge to keep our spirits up. That said, no one will ever get a better bird's eye view of the REAL countryside and lives of the Indian people. We couldn't stop gawking at the colors- saris, vegetable stands, mustard fields, red stone, white marble, garbage...... and animals-elephants, camels, cows, chickens. dogs, monkeys, water buffalo... and vehicles- tuk tuks, huge loads on little trucks, motorcycles everywhere, little cars, big cars, bicycles........and people everywhere.
Our hotels were disappointing as they were to be 4 star, but in fact were very, very filthy. I wore my flip flops so I could tolerate the shower. I don't know what can be done about this, as the standard in the country is not like our Western standards, but maybe ask for an upgrade to a five star in Agra and in Jaipur.
Our guides were reasonable. Our driver spoke little English, but was very dear, prompt, and agreeable. The tours were priceless. We ended up thrilled with our trip, but paid a price. Ask for a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you need some wiggle room in your car.

A tour to the Taj is an experience everyone should have. The driver Vikram was extremely trustworthy and an excellent driver negotiating the potholes and horrendous traffic in India. I felt extremely safe, even as a solo female traveler. The only downside was that I was not too impressed by the 'souvenior' shops I was taken to, with the sales people there being too pushy and inquisitive. If you don't like shopping, make sure you insist that they don't take you to those places.

This was an amazing tour! We were meet at the airport even after a 3 hour delay, then escorted to our driver. we drove the Agra with a very nice driver who even stopped for us to take pictures of things along the way. we were meet at the hotel in Agra by another representative to ensure we got checked in ok. then we were off on a day full of tours with a very nice and knowledgeable tour guide. We had our meals taken care of and the hotel was really nice! The next day we enjoyed another tour before returning back to Delhi. I am currently on another tour in India with a different company and it is not going good at all. I think that Viator really knows how to find good local tour services. I would 100% recomend this tour to others.

this tour was great! The tour guide was professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this tour option. The Taj Mahal is beautiful!!!!!

This was a truely memorable trip with excellent guides at each place and our driver Ajmer was brilliant. While I was nervous that the original hotels got changed, I need not have been concerned. In fact the hotel in Jaipur was more central that the original one noted.
I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone.

Very nice driver and over all very informative tour! We had several various tour guides- and although that became a bit confusing, it was an unforgettable experience. The hotels were average - better in Jaipur than Agra.
