If you've ever been to Asia then you will fit right in whilst in India. It's quite diverse and there are many different destinations depending on what you want to see. If you're after the "old style" experience, then head for the Taj Mahal and Red Fort which shouldn't cost anymore than $40US for a day trip. There's lots of culture packed in with plenty of interaction with the locals.... Or if you're after the straight out bustle of the city vs the stacked up feel of Old Delhi then just check with your local hotel for the latest tours to take you through both the Old and New Delhi areas...If you want the traditional style Indian food then head for the smaller style stalls in "Old Delhi", or if you get over than, stay with the more upmarket restaurants which provide the "westernised" Indian food...up to you, how much India experience do you really want???
