The tour guide tried to make things funny and interesting, you have to pay for every full drinks instead of just having a little to sample since there's more than just 1 bar to visit. Only the historical info of the tour can be appreciated.
Sandy, our guide was very informative and took us to some great places. Our only complaint was the cost. I suggest that you provide small tastes of the cocktails to be included in the cost, and if someone wishes to purchase more, or a full sized cocktail, they could do that.
Unfortunately my husband and I were the only 2 people booked on this tour, which in itself would not have been too much of a problem except the tour guide was not very outgoing or talkative. We therefore struggled to make conversation and felt the whole evening was a waste of time and money.
I enjoyed the drinks and our guide. She was knowledgeable and kept the tour moving at a fun pace. No time to get bored, I would recommend this tour.
This is a great tour - very interesting and the guide is highly informative of her city and the devastation caused by Katrina. A few years after the catastrophe it is also great to see the renaissance of this city - building it better than it was before - highly recommended tour
This walking tour was a wonderful way to find hidden bars within the French Quarter. The featured drinks were also great! I believe this tour applies to people of all ages. Highly recommend!
Had a very knowledgeable guide. Fairly interesting, went to some nice bars. Explored some parts not open to the public. One bar gave out free absinthe spoons to all tour members that bought the drink.
Very informative tour guide in Joe .Having lunch at Antoines the next day at a very reasonable price with 25 cent Martini's amazing
Instead of this tour, do the Post-Katrina City Tour. It is the same tour, but with half an hour of Katrina info and touring, including a drive through the lower 9th Ward. This half an hour is all you need of Katrina Touring.
Don't take the full Katrina Disaster Tour, as that was mostly, "this happened here, and that was there...", all from inside a bus. I slept through much of it. Waste of a tour.
The Post-Katrina City Tour was also entirely from inside of a bus, with only a ten minute stop at an above ground cemetery. Very informative though. Decent tour.
The tour was terrific and well worth it for an overview of New Orleans. Geralds commentary was non stop and filled with information
Good tour. Gave a good overall view of New Orleans. Tour guide very knowledgeable. It did feel a bit rushed. Way too much information to remember.
