Joseph, the driver, made this tour special. Joseph grew up in the area and lived through Katrina. Joseph's knowledge of the area and the history made this a memorable experience. Seeing the houses still shuttered down due to Katrina brings this tragedy to life.

Our tour guide was most informative. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a thorough overview of the history of St. Louis #1 cemetery, as well as New Orleans. If you are more interested in voodoo, however, there was very little interest in this particular tour.

The history and stories of this cemetery were very interesting. I was surprised by the history of some of the areas in the cemetery.

It was interesting for the lovers of "Interview with a Vampire", but they took it quite seriously and I had expected it to be more funny - wrong guess.

Our guide had lots of interesting graveyard stories, but was more like a recorder than live. Also it says cemetery and voodoo. Didn't expect 99% graveyard stories and 5% voodoo, disappointing. The only voodoo story was at ML gravestone. And not so exciting. Lots of bored little children in our group, poor kids, this is not a tour for children. Overall, historically interesting to learn a little about NA inhabitants long gone.

Four of us went on this walking tour. We all disliked it. The guide's stories were fragmented and hard to follow.

The perfect introduction to New Orleans for us, first-time visitors, thanks especially to our amazing guide, Dylan.

This tour was amazing. Our guide Joseph, gave us a detail history about what happened during the Katrina's hurricane flood, and the tragic time those people lived. We saw the levees and the abandoned houses marked with the X for the National Gard . Joseph was very nice and his knowledge about the city , the cemetery, the parks, gave us a background about the city we wanted to see.

This was a wonderful trip and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. We wanted to see and understand how New Orleans experienced Katrina and was has come about since that time. This tour filled all of our expectations. We learned about all of the different neighborhoods, toured a graveyard and stopped off at the New Orleans park. We have been going to New Orleans for years and we were looking for something different. This tour was perfect. And we enjoyed the small group. Thank you for organizing this tour.

This was our first tour after arriving in New Orleans and we always like to get familiar with our surroundings. Joseph was our guide and he picked us up exactly when he said we would be picked up. The van was not full and there was only five people but it was nice not being packed in the van. Joseph is a native of New Orleans and his knowledge and delivery of so much history was so enjoyable. I would recommend this tour as a beginning tour so you can see the past, the present, the cemeteries, and our trip down St Charles Street where they have the Mardi Gras events was a highlight. We stopped in the middle of the tour to have some coffee and bignets at a park where they also had clean restrooms. We were there for 15 min and was a nice little break to relax before finishing the tour. It is a tour filled with New Orleans history and that it what we enjoy when vacationing to unknown cities.
