Excellent tour, very interesting and fun. Amazing artists at work
Unique experience. Boring, uninformed tour guide. (Told us that it was a coincidence that Fat Tuesday happened just before Ash Wed. and that MG had no religious roots.) You should go, but don't expect to learn anything! :)
Great learning experience about the making of the Mardi Gras floats.
Excellent presentation and quite informative
This tour was fantastic! It was so interesting to learn the history and the process of how the floats are made.
Great tour. Excellent overview of the work that goes into the year-round planning and running of this huge "party". We got a complete tour of the main warehouse....wasn't really expecting to see this much access...so that was great!! We went the 2nd week of January, which was a good time to tour. We were able to take as many pictures as we wanted.
This tour was so amazing. It was so much fun. Great job staff
Loved the experience. The floats we saw in storage were gorgeous and unbelievable. Loved seeing the process of creation. It was fun dressing up in costumes and taking photos. Learned a lot about Mardi Gras!
I would go on this tour again. The guide was informative. The Props were great. The price was good.
Very interesting! We enjoyed learning about how the floats were designed and built
It was very informative and it was astonishing
Tour was really interesting. My daughter really enjoyed all the props.
Fun, informative, you also see a short movie on history of Mardi Gras. You see many of the floats in a huge warehouse. People are actually working on floats as you tour. Great for people of all ages.
great experience to see how the world and magic of mardi grass is created, be aware that this is located very far off so you have to asked them to call when you are done so a driver can pick you up and drop you at center of city, they have different stops so make sure you call to see which one is closer to your hotel for pick up, we even got to see artists working
I was impressed by Mardi Gras World. The tour of the warehouse was informative; I learned so much about Mardi Gras's history and parade rules. The props and floats are impressive. It's a short tour and worth a stop when visiting New Orleans.
Very Interesting. We were in a very small group -- which we loved and were able to see everything. Well worth the money. And we got King Cake!
The floats and decorations were amazing. What a way to see the floats if unable to attend Mardi Gras
The tour was quite interesting and fun.
Very cool place!
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and was fascinated by the level of detail and hard work that goes into preparing for Mardis Gras on a yearly basis with new themes etc. It was short and sweet. I loved trying on the outfits and getting the snacks and being allowed to take pictures inside the workroom
