Our guide was very good - well behaved, informative, professional.
Vehicle could have been better.

The tour was basically saved by Nathan, the tour guide. The weather was challenging, very cold and drizzly, but the sights were excellent. However, the morning tea and lunch were miserable. A packet of butternut biscuits for morning tea and lemon cordial plus cryovacked salami, entry level supermarket ham, stale wraps with half an old iceberg lettuce and three tomatoes all served on aged plastic contributed to the impression of a cowboy operation. There were no hot drinks all day. This part of the package needs serious work. The highlight though was the visit to the crimson rosella and glowworm venue.

Excellent tour and the tour guide, Ian , was not only knowledgeable but could be amusing as well. Good tour for those who love nature but definitely not for those who suffer from arthritis, muscular conditions and the non-fit as there is a lot of walking to do!

Alot of walking, but well worth it. It really shows the true contrast of Australia - beach vs. rain forest.

Absolutely stunning scenery. Steve the guide was informative but also unstructured which made it an experience we all contributed to. Drive is a bit long but once you get there it is worth it

Really good tour guide(Megan) and fun trip! must try!

Loved the tour, Springbrook was phenomenal! Enjoyed the fresh bakery sandwiches. Maybe some more snack food in the morning? My only complaint (other than the tour being postponed to Friday) was that some of the ladies were quite unfit and slow, and we were not able to complete the whole hike due to time constraints. Other, than that, the day was lovely!

Nice walk and scenery! Good energetic guide, although not as knowledgeable as I may have liked about the flora and fauna of the area.

If you are staying in Brisbane city this tour is a must. We got picked up nice and early from one of the pick up points. The tour that we went on was stunning. The picture that is showing is one of the many waterfalls that you actually visit. All are well worth seeing (if you like waterfalls). Our tour guide (meg) was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The lunch which you get is tasty and well deserved after all of the walking.

I would recommend this to anyone who goes to Brisbane (particularly as the city doesn't have much else to offer) it is well organised and interesting, with some brilliant photo ops if you are photographer. If you like wildlife then this is def for you too.

They lost a star because by the time we had lunch I was ravenous. They don't pick up from your actual accommodation which is definitely possible.

Overall the trip was fantastic Highly recommended.!!

awesome guide, awesome tour!

This tour was amazing and highlight of our visit to Gold Coast. Twin waterfalls are beautiful and very much worth seeing. Our tour guide Ian was great.

We had a great day at Springbrook NP, the scenery was wonderful even though it was raining (best time to see the rain forest). Our guide was very friendly and informative. Hand feeding the Crimson Rosellas was a real highlight for us and the home made fudge from the fudge shop was delicious. Great value tour.

Doing what: Byron Bay Day Trip from the Gold Coast

A good day trip from the Gold Coast (too far in my opinion from Brisbane). Shame we didn't have a little longer in Byron Bay. 2 hours isn't enough to have lunch and a good look round. My preference would be to cut out the Honey stop on the way down and Tropical Fruit world on the way back for more time in BB. But I guess the driver needs a break and the passengers a toilet stop in a fairly long journey
