Brilliant - no other words would describe this. Loved every minute of the tour, great guide and the music from the church was awesome. Tourist participation was also another plus. Would totally recommend this tour
An excellent experience! The lunch at the Cotton club was just fantastic, both the entertainment and the food. However a glass of wine and a beer was extremely overpriced.
The guide was excellent and full of interesting conversation. The church service was way too long, loud and boring. The lunch was okay but a lot of people in a small space.
Overall the tour was fair, unless you are a super fanatic rapster you will not get much out of it. I was a little disappointed that the graffiti was all behind fences, I was under the impression from the description that we could have gotten up close and personal. Another thing not too happy that nothing was mentioned about lunch being an extra charge and that it had to be cash. The guide was knowledgable but in my opinion a bit rude, in fact they all were. Just a sugggestion: when you have only two seats left on the bus together and you have two people that were on time give them the seats together don't save them for the ones that are late!
We had a 2 day ticket which was great ,the best way to get an over view of NY. The cruise also was fantastic as you got very close to the statue of Liberty, highly recommended
Was an awesome tour, great walking tour of harlem. The chruch service was wonderful and great to get all involved
Thought this was great. The commentary was informative and the soul food was enjoyable. I enjoyed the club experience but was disappointed the guide didnt join us there.
I was told by the agent whom I booked my tickets with that I have to pick up my tickets at the Information center on Times square. After being in line for the longest time, I was told by them that I have to get my tickets at Madame Tussaud's, so had to wait there again in yet another line. Not sure why prepaid tickets cannot be picked up at a will call window that is seperate. What is the point of buying tickets in advance if you still have to wait in long lines? The guides are for the most part very knowledgeable. We just had one guide that spoke English with a very heavy accent that was hard to understand.
GREAT WAY TO SEE NEW YORK .WE HAD A EXCELLENT GUIDE(LARRY LOVE) REALY KNOWS NY. AND SOME STORIES WERE VERY INTERESTING. WOULD STRONGLY RECOMEND THIS TOUR(DOWN TOWN).ONLY DISAPOINTMENT WAS UPTOWN TOUR. NO!! GUIDE GIVEN A PAIR EAR BUDS TRIED 3 DIFFRENT OUTLETS DIDN'T WORK!UPTOWN TOUR WASNT AS INTERESTING OR AS MUSH TO SEE.A TRAVELL CARD WOULD BE BETTER THAN A 3 FT.STRIP OF PAPER AS YOUR TICKET
This was a great tour and a good way to start a sunday mormimg. Guide was very informative although a little bit of confusion in the booking office before we went.
This was an amazing deal.We took the Empire State Building option, went at 6pm with no queues, very few people on the viewing stage.
The tour operators were excellent. The nightime tour was spectacular, even allowing for the clous that made it a bit different. Both the River cruises were extremely enjoyable and informative. Have not used Viator before but we will be doing so during this years trip to Singapore, Sydney and Hong Kong. An excellent one-stop shop for the traveller.
