Doing what: Empire State Building Tickets - Observatory and Optional Skip the Line Tickets
We visited The Empire State Building at 09.00am so missed the long queues. However there were a few people in the queue and we did get though quicker. Good value priced tickets.

I took my husband to New York City for his 50th birthday, he had never been there before. We saw Phantom of the Opera, the 911 memorial and went to the empire state observatory. It was like he was a 12 year old again, he was awe-struck. Take someone whose never been...it was a wonderful!

Doing what: New York CityPass
Did 4 out of the 6 attractions: Top of the Rock during the day, Empire State Building at night, 6 hrs in Natural History Museum and Liberty Island Circle Line Cruise - all fantastic and NY City Pass was well worth having. Would definitely recommend it.

Skip the Line purchase was sooooo worth it! We had a limited time window to view the Empire State Building and there were lines everywhere-with skip the line privledge we went to the front of every line! It was very windy at the top but well worth the view!!

The fast pass option is a MUST as the queues seem to go on FOREVER! With fast pass you can just breeze through it... We went up the Empire State Building at night and the rockerfella centre in the day - would highly recommend going up at night. Amazing views.

Doing what: Viator VIP: Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and 9/11 Memorial
FANTASTIC! Having VIP entry into the Empire State was the best! Then heading down to the Intrepid and water taxi. This tour was very well organised. It took us through the whole day, where we got to see these 3 sites plus Brooklyn. The tour guide knew his stuff as well and was wonderful!

Doing what: Empire State Building Tickets - Observatory and Optional Skip the Line Tickets
We decided to visit Empire State Building at night, to see Manhattan all lit up. It was awesome but very very windy. Nowhere to sit. We visited at 9.30pm and did not need our Skip the Line Tickets, as there were not many visitors at that time of night.

Doing what: Empire State Building Tickets - Observatory and Optional Skip the Line Tickets
Empire State building is a must see. Beware of street scammers One told us that there was a 2 hour wait and for $22 each we could get a 'fastpass'.... wrong, line was no more than 10 minutes. Keep in mind, there is a security line, ticket line, elevator line. avoid peak times for best enjoyment.

Buying through viator saved a few quid. As Empire State closed due to hurricane not all party able to go. Refund for those tickets received. Great service.

Doing what: New York CityPass
This was excellent value for money we planned each attraction before we went to make the most out of it and would recommend doing the empire state at night and top of the rock during day for different views of the city.

Doing what: New York CityPass
The New York CityPass was perfect for our family of four, 2 adults, 2 children (11 and 9 years) for a week . It covered the main tourist sites that can't be missed but didn't have too many things included. It was great to be able to jump the queues at the Empire State Building and it saved us money as well.

Doing what: Viator VIP: Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and 9/11 Memorial
JP was a fantistic guide and looked after us very well on the trip. We were first up the Empire State Building, which was a great feeling. My 8 year old daughter enjoyed it as well. The only down side was the weather ...... but as JP kept staying only god can control that one. Strongly recommend this one!
