Doing what: Walking Tour of Ground Zero with Optional 9/11 Memorial Admission
I wanted a tour about 9/11 Ground Zero. Half my tour had the financial district info. We could have started at the church and gone from there. Maybe then the guide would not have had us going so fast that at times people were really dragging behind.
He knew alot about Ground Zero, the memorial, what happened, etc. and it was very interesting but I didn't get a chance to take any pictures because again he had such a fast pace.
I would not recommend anyone over 50 taking this tour. They couldn't keep up.
Note from Viator: Thank you for your feedback. Our tour features about 25% content on the Financial District which surrounds the 9/11 Memorial. We feel the events and stories are relevant to the events of 9/11 such as the first terrorist attack on Wall Street and the recent bombing attempt of Federal Reserve.
We always seek to improve the guest experience and given your feedback, we are scaling back on this portion of the tour to permit more time and focus on the events of 9/11. Thank you again for your comments and happy travels.

Doing what: Walking Tour of Ground Zero with Optional 9/11 Memorial Admission
Our guide Sandy was excellent. He related a lot of historial facts but also put his personal experience regarding 9/11 into the tour. Our walk was at a comfortable pace and we had ample time to see everything. The separate entrance to the memorial was unexpected and welcomed given it was a cold and windy day. Highly recommended.

Doing what: World Trade Center Walking Tour
Very moving experience. Began at St Paul s Chapel .Walked over to Ground Zero. Annie, our guide was excellent. However, no one , not even Annie knew anything about the Ground Zero Museum Workshop which I had read about on Viator and was keen to visit. Managed to find this ourselves on a separate day

Doing what: Walking Tour of Ground Zero with Optional 9/11 Memorial Admission
A thorough tour, not only of the 9/11 memorial but also events that have happened in the surrounding area.
Our guide was informative and kept the right tone. It wasn't sombre until it needed to be when we entered the memorial which itself is quite moving. This is a must if visiting New York.

Doing what: Walking Tour of Ground Zero with Optional 9/11 Memorial Admission
Tony our tour guide gave the visit a truly personal touch from someone who had worked at the WTC and witnessed the tragic events first hand. Tony gave you so much more than just a standard, scripted walk-a-round, he gave you some fascinating historical facts from the Wall Street area and other locations as you walked towards the memorial itself. The stop near St Pauls Chapel and the information that Tony departed (I won't spoil it by giving the information here) was quite amazing. Had we not done a tour with a genuine New Yorker we would not have gained hardly any of the information that we received which made the visit really fascinating. Things like the American Express 11 Tears Memorial which is so touching and quite beautiful in its simplicity and the Winter Garden were things that you may not just stumble upon and even if you do, you won't appreciate what they're about. The fast-track tickets for access to the 9/11 memorial itself were also included which made access swift. The pools themselves are a fitting memorial.Highly recommended.

Doing what: World Trade Center Walking Tour
Kevin was our guide and he struck the right note for this tour, respectful, informative, and enthusiastic about NYC. The small group met at St Paul's chapel near the WTC and walked from there to several sites important to September 11th before ending at the WTC plaza. Moving and uplifting experience

Doing what: World Trade Center Walking Tour
on 2-19,we and our twin grandchildren took the 2:30 world trade center walking tour with Kevin. It was beyond our expections! Kevin was very informative and we enjoyed bouncing facts with him. He is quite knowledgable and kept us and the 11 year olds so interested that we barely noticed the windy-rainy weather. we would not hesitate to take this tour with Kevin, again, and we highly recommend this tour as a NYC Must!!!!! This was a great tour. The tour guide made it the best. She had so much insight on 9/11. She told stories with compassion. Her knowledge was really good and answered questions. I would recommend this too anyone. I learned so much and I am from upstate New York and been to 9/11 before. Just GREAT!!!

Doing what: Walking Tour of Ground Zero with Optional 9/11 Memorial Admission
This was a very informative tour done with sensitivity and grace by Tony. Exploring the history of the financial district and the wonderful memorial to the victims of 9/11. Tony's insight into the history of the area was unsurpassed by any other tour we have done in the past, well worth considering.

Doing what: Walking Tour of Ground Zero with Optional 9/11 Memorial Admission
Very interesting, but the tour guide was walking really fast and he didn't wait, therefore we didn't enter the 9/11 memorial.

Doing what: Walking Tour of Ground Zero with Optional 9/11 Memorial Admission
Despite the cold and rain, the tour was thoroughly enjoyable. Very informative, and much better than anything we could have tried to do on our own. Highly recommend, whether you're a New Yorker or from out of town. Definitely worth the money. Bypassing the lines at 9/11 Memorial is a huge bonus.
