Our guide Jay was wonderful, knowledgeable and extremely respectful to everyone on the tour. The 9/11 Memorial site itself is so beautifully and thoughtfully created. We highly recommend this tour.
Our guide was a lovely guy, who had personal story's of 9/11.my mum and i found it a very interesting tour...
Better than just going straight to ground zero.
Though we didn't realise you could go and pay on the day to see ground zero,I would say its defiantly worth doing a tour aswell.
Reasonably priced for the duration.
excellent tour and tour guide was very good. He told it like it was without trying to over dramatise. visit to 9/11 memorial was very moving
Tony, our excellent tour guide, enhanced this informative and moving experience. He was working just blocks away on 9/11, and his personal recounting of the attack on the WTC and his escape to the West Side with thousands of fellow workers, and his general knowledge of the WTC and the area, made this a memorable tour. Highly recommended.
It was very interesting. I learned so much about the Wall Street area and NYC Stock Exchange. Along with more information on 9/11 and the Memorial. Was also very moved by the American Express memorial we visited too. James our tour guide did an outstanding job.
We found this walking tour to be very informative but incredibly moving. Our personal guide Bob gave us his personal experience of 9/11 which certainly contributed to the emotion of the day.It was a Sunday and according to Bob, a little quieter, however it was still full on busy, with tourists lining up around us.It is a shame that so much security still has to cover such entry.Learning about the actual sight and how it is transforming after 12 years is amazing. The pools of remembrance are spectacular and very special. This was a definite highlight of our trip to NYC and will stay with us always.Thank You Bob!
It was a straight 10, and the little thing that was not there, was the opening of the museum! But we need a excuse to return! The opening of the tour in the chapel was like a struck in our hearts..... and it stays there.
And will be forever. The way the guide took us around in the chapel and the rest of The Ground Zero, we have not any words than could describe it (excuse my little english), but i can not tell you in a stronger way.
He was thre right man at the right place. This Walking Tour was the "big one" of our trip to New York.
Thank you. Yours Arve B.
The Walking Tour of Ground Zero was fantastic. The leader was very knowledgeable and gave the tour audience tons of information. I would recommend this tour to everyone. Thank you
It was great. I would recommend it to everyone who visited Ground Zero. Tony was super, as well. It was truly a moving experience.
We toured on September 27th. Our guide was very good and very informed about 9/11 and the pace was great. Thanks for your very efficient and informative tour.
I am glad I chose the 2.5 hour walking tour with a guide. I learned not only much more about the 9/11 tragedy, but also learned some history I would not have learned walking in lower Manhattan on my own. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative, as well as patient as we asked questions. The site itself was very poignant for me. I would definitely suggest this tour to others
Anyone who has the opportunity must go to Ground Zero and I would highly recommend that this tour be a part of that experience. I appreciated that the tour was not only about Ground Zero and 9/11 itself but also included history about New York and the entire area surrounding the World Trade Center complex. Our tour guide was excellent, communicating not only facts but also helping us, as visitors, grasp how it affected our country, communities, families and individual people.
Our 9/11 tour was a bit rushed but excellent nonetheless. Statute of Liberty was awesome
Highly recommended; our guide was very knowledgeable and added greatly to the tour with historical facts, anecdotes, poignant stories and information about how the area is being re-constructed. The climax of the tour was our time at Ground Zero and we had unlimited time to read and reflect.
The smallest big museum i have ever been in! Incredibly moving and intimate to be so close to artifacts and hear true life accounts of the days and weeks that followed 09/11.
