Doing what: Top of the Rock Observation Deck, New York

The view from the top of the rock is spectacular and the whole of New York is there to behold. We were fortunate that it was a clear night when we went and not too windy.

Doing what: Top of the Rock Observation Deck, New York

Highly recommend this tour if you want to find out more about the history of New York. The background we learned from our tour guide, Jonathon, was the perfect lead in to what we discovered during our stay in Bar Harbor, Maine. I doubt that very many people, other than the ones directly affected, ever knew of generousity and positive influence of Rockefeller, Jr. and his wife. Astonishing.

Doing what: Top of the Rock Observation Deck, New York

Brilliant views and friendly staff . I would reccomend doing either the empire state and the Rock at different times one during the day and one at night. A must do whilst in New York! Go to the very top of the observation deck and you won't be dissapointed, I enjoyed this whole experience and views better than the Empire State Building.

Doing what: New York City Explorer Pass

The pass was great apart from having to get tickets as well for each attraction. It would be good if the pass could just be swiped for entry especially as it was not always clear where to get the actual tickets and we ended up queing for ages at Statue of Liberty tickets to be told that we were in the wrong place.....the tickets were from a couple of girls sitting on a bench looking like tourists themselves!!
The Natural History Museum was good, but the ticket does not include all areas. Enjoyed the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island as able to spend as much time at each area as we wanted, the trip out on the ferry was lovely too. We went to top of Rockerfeller centre at 11pm.......wow what views, definitely my favourite seing all NY lit up. My kids said it was the best holiday ever!!!

Our family went to the Top of the Rock in the evening and the Empire State Building during the day. If you intend to see both, I would recommend this. It is well worth going to the Top of the Rock and I liked having advance tickets for it.

Although the weather let us down badly on our trip here, so visibility was poor we still enjoyed The Top of the Rock, the staff were so friendly and jolly, would definitely go here again

This tour was also amazing. We upgraded for the tour. Jillian was extremely knowledgeable about the Rockefeller's and their lifestyle's, the buildings etc. The tour took about and hour, fifteen minutes. They you go through security check and up to the top of the Rockefeller Center, and man what and amazing view from there. We went at night! Next time I go back to NYC I would like to go in the day time!

This was our first trip to New York and with only 3 days to see the City, this tour package seemed to cover everything we wanted to see. The whole thing worked extremly well. Tickets were easy to obtain in Times square, although carrying several metres of ticket receipts ( for 5 people ) could be improved. However all the tours were excellent, particularly the night tour. The ticket exchange for Liberty ferry was confusing, resulting in joining various wrong queues and mis information. Superb value for money I thought though given the 3 days of open top bus travel, top of the rock, Liberty / Ellis Island, Harbour cruise..ran out of time for the Museum. We could not have covered so much without this package ! Highly recommend and would use again without a doubt !!

The tickets were cheaper than buying at Top of the Rock and the views are incredible - a must if you're visiting New York.

Having used Viastor for the Empire State Building, we used again for the Top of the Rock. As mentioned before, 10/10 for the speed and removal of hassle by purchasing these tickets. Great Value and will use Viator next time we visit New York

This was welll worth the money. After reading some bad reviews I was a bit apprenehsive about it but I can say we had no problems whatsoever. We had a tour guide everytime and was very informative. I recommend that when you take the downtown tour first thing in the morning if you want to do Ellis Island as we did the downtown tour, then did the brooklyn tour and then after lunch decided to do Ellis Island but the queue was massive and it would have meant queuing for hours so we decided to go back on the downtown tour and finish that off and the next day we went back on the downtown tour just after 8am and did Ellis Island about 9am and there was no queue. It takes a few hours to visit Ellis Island and well worth visiting. We chose Top of the Rock tickets and went in the evening at 8pm and it was lovely seeing New York at night.
