A thoroughly brilliant trip, with a fabulous New Yorker as our guide - There was nothing he didn't know! A well organised and efficient way to take in so many of the sites. A brilliant tour to start any trip to NYC, particularly for first timers like us, as it gives a good insight into many of the places of interest/attractions.

This tour was exceptional value. Five nights in great hotels, breakfasts and dinners, entry into everything, four private plane trips and numerous coaches for around $1500! What we saw was amazing with only a couple of exceptions. Toronto (CNN tower and a shopping centre) was a little underwhelming, and we missed out on seeing Harrisburg which was on our itinerary.
Our guide tried really hard but unfortunately was unable to cope with the tour and made some errors that affected our time. We were not sure whether it was lack of support from the company or some other reason.
However, it was fabulous overall and we would definitely recommend it.

We went on the tour on our first day in New York and was a good way to get an overview the city. Edwin our tour guide was excellent and very informative. Would recommend.

A fantastic trip with an eclectic small group. I would suggest that the Hershey Factory tour could be deleted and instead include a trip to Gettysburg for some Civil War exposure. That aside we could not fault this trip as excellent value for money.
This was our first trip to New York and we took this tour on the first afternoon we were there. It was a wonderful experience. Issac was so knowledgeable and took us to see all sorts of sites that we would never have found ourselves. As he said, we could easily do the main tourist attractions on our own but this was something different. He took us to all the different villages and then over the bridge to Brooklyn, The car was amazing and so many people stared at us. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who wants to see a different side to New York.

Definitely recommend this tour to all but especially if time is limited - a great way to see a lot of the main sights. Our guide was fab, really friendly, funny and extremely knowledgable. Thoroughly enjoyed our day :-)

Excellent tour! Howie and Joe provided us with a wealth of information on the history of New York. Great way to see all the sights of New York in 5 hours.

Highly recomended! Our guide Brooklyn Jim was very knowledgeable and entertaining as he took us around New York. It was a good way to see the sights and find your bearings, he was full of very useful tips about visiting sights, places to eat, what not too do! and other area's to visit depending on the length of your stay!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We were a small group and had booked the German tour not realising there were options. The tour leader Helga was extremely professional and spoke to the German group and us in German and in English. The hotels we stayed at were incredible expecially in Lancaster. We were amazed at what we covered in the six days.All the staff from tour leader, bus drivers, plane crew were more than pleasant and friendly expecially Ed the bus driver and Suzie the airline hostess. We loved the tour and there was a couple that had toured with Viatour previously and we will go with Viatour again on our next journey.
This tour is a definitely must do! New York in1 day with great facts and history in the background! Our your guide Edwin is an amazing guy! Full of knowledge and such a positive energy! Worth taking this tour at the start of your stay as you can go back to your favourite spots following days.

Stephan was our guide, funny and has a wealth of knowledge of the city! If you only have 1 day in NYC DO THIS TOUR!!!! You will see most of the must sees in one day! The boat tour of the highlight of the tour....AWESOME. Worth the money! Only complaint was in a covered bus, it difficult sometimes to see well when you are riding and touring. However, we made some wonderful stops!!!
