Doing what: New Year's Eve Cruise in New York City
We had a great evening. It would have been perfect, if there were tables to put glases on and if the music would'nt have been soooooo loud at the upper deck.

Doing what: New Year's Eve Cruise in New York City
Arrived early and were boarded promptly, having extra time cruising. There were lots of people on board, line up for the bar was lenghty. We wondered why there were a couple of under 18s on board, when it was advertised as an over 18 cruise. The weather was good and the fireworks excellent.

Doing what: New Year's Eve Dinner Cruise in New York
Myself and my family had a wonderful time, well organised, brilliant waitress at our table. Criuse the Hudson highly recommended.
Downside 5 course dinner could have been better, we had steak but was not cooked to our order, and being from the UK lack of quantity.

Excellent choice especially getting away from Times Square area on Hogmanay! The only comments that I would make would be about the food - could have announced when ready! Music- speakers on outside deck would have been good. Overall excelllant night and a great way to bring the New Year in!

Doing what: Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular
The Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular was great. We spent 6 days in New York in Dec 12 which turned out to be a wonderful pre christmas experience.

Doing what: New York City Holiday Lights Tour
This was good however it was absolutely freezing on top of the double decker bus, maybe if a blanket or something was offered. The lights were good although I thought it was going to be slightly different and see more lights but still a nice night.

Not the best as bus has a plastic roof that is so scratched you can barely see through it and as it was winter very cold if you sat outside the roof on top, saw more of the lights walking around afterwards.

It was nice to watch the fireworks near the Statue of Liberty but that was it. It was over crowded the seats were folded out chairs that people placed anywhere. The description said an open bar but drinks were restricted. The hors d'oevres were raw vegetables.

You needed more bar staff as it took 30 minutes to get a drink all night. I was surprised to see children on a trip which had an 18 age limit on it. The music was terrible and all the same apart from about 20 minutes of oldies which actually had people dancing. We could have been nearer the firework

The New York sky line and fire works at the Statue of Liberty were spectacular five star.
However the disco was too loud and played some obscene songs. The food was sparse and there was an enormous queue for the bar. The DJ did not start the New Year count down until five secs before New Year so the build up was somewhat lost. I think the champayne was wine and lemonade and this was not given to us just left on the table for us to collect and was unanounced.I accept that on New Year things are a bit more expnesive but I would have paid more for better quality food, drink, entertainment and seating with a table I wasn't expecting the seating to be in rows. In short the idea, lcocation and fire works were absolutley amazing. The food, drink, facilities and atmosphere was basic.

This trip is not for the older person. It is aimed at a younger generation.
The disco had a monosalabic beat and New Year came and went in a flash. a
quick verse of old lang syne and back to the beat. Fireworks , the boat was bow on
so making it hard to see the display.
Not a event to repeat.

Bitterly disappointing. There was no organisation, people jumped the queue. We waited an hour and a quarter just to board. One of the staff was very abusive when asked how much longer we would wait because I was freezing. It was a double-decker bus but perspex so scratched, couldn't see out. Rubbish
