It’s difficult to get a reservation in some of the Big Apple‘s best restaurants, even harder still to ‘wing it’ and try and find a place that’s both affordable, open, and without the huge line outside. When you’re tired of walking and just want to sit down on the curb and eat some homemade grub, the solution to all your problems just might manifest in the form of an NYC food truck.
Serving up almost every type of cuisine you can think of, New York City’s food trucks are popular, affordable, and (depending on the neighborhood) pretty trendy. If you have twitter on your phone, the best way to find them is to check the food trucks’ twitter accounts; they usually have the most updated location information. For a snack: Wafels & Dinges. This is so much more than your average Belgian waffle—for example, adding pulled pork, bacon, or chilli and cilantro is certainly not something you’d see every day in Belgium.
