Doing what: Wellington's Lord of the Rings Locations Tour including Lunch
Loved It! Todd our guide was excellent and knew his stuff. It wasn't rushed at all and we go to see everything in detail. Anyone who loves LOTR should do it whilst in Wellington.

Doing what: 'Lord of the Rings' Hobbiton Movie Set Tour
Great trip. Enjoyed the set tour with the guide (Uncle Ben) who had worked on the set during filming so had a wealth of stories. He was great fun. The variety of souvenirs in the shop is a bit limited.

We flew to Wellington from Sydney exact;ly for this tour. Expense for he tour and airfare for rour. I was concerned that the trip might not be worth the expenditure. I need not have feared. The tour was definitly worth all the time and money. The tour guide, Todd, had been in the movie and was able to give details and stories that thrilled us all day long.
I hardily recommend anyone with any love for the three movies to pay what is required to take this tour.

Doing what: Wellington's Lord of the Rings Half Day Tour
We had a very knowledgeable and an excellent personality. The tour itself was just amazing, it gives you a behind the scenes look at how creative ideas made the movie. Planning on doing Hobbitown and South New Zealand LOTR tours in the near future.

Doing what: Lord of the Rings - Journey to Edoras from Christchurch
Other than the scenery and awesome views, the tour guide was definitely the other highlight of the trip. He was so knowledgeable and full of stories from all 3 movies. They even played music and docmentaries from the movie so that your car ride wasnt gonna be so boring! Definitely must do tour!

Doing what: Wellington's Lord of the Rings Half Day Tour
Very good tour guide. I was a little disappointed that the sites used were far from what was depicted in the movie, but that is not the tour's fault at all. Overall a nice and relaxing tour that highlights scenes and places where LOTR was filmed on North Island.

Excellent - our quirky, knowledgeable quide made this tour memorable. Our small group of 8, simple lunch and going to many sites with background movie connections made it a good day.

Best lord of the rings tour in New Zealand. Brilliant guide who really 'geeked' it up for us once he knew we were all big fans, couldn't have been any better

A great way to check out the sub-alpine countryside and wildlife. Out tour guide Steve was well-informed and helpful. From Mt Pott station, it would be nice if we went on foot or on horse-back instead of the 4WD-it would be more physical and fun.
