Bridal Veil Falls
Bridal Veil Falls -- situated between Luna Island and Goat Island -- features a vertical fall of 78 feet (24 meters) and a crest that’s 56 feet (17 m) wide. While this is impressive, it’s actually the smallest of the three waterfalls. That being said, it gets a lot of exposure as visitors can get very close to it due to a number of attractions. First of all, the Maid of the Mist takes you past Bridal Veil Falls for a unique view of its beauty. Then there’s the Cave of the Winds, where visitors get into an elevator to descend 175 feet (53 meters) into Niagara Gorge. This is where you’ll follow the Niagara River to the Hurricane Deck, where you’ll have an experience similar to being caught in a hurricane. Torrents of water from Bridal Veil Falls drench your body, while winds gust at up to 68 mph (109 kph). It’s a great way to truly experience Niagara Falls. You can also enjoy spectacular views of Bridal Veil Falls from the viewing platforms on Goat Island and Luna Island, Skylon Tower Observation Deck and Queen Victoria Park.
