Excellente! very complete information about Nice!
Excellent guide Andreas(not sure if correct spelling) He is very informative with very nice modulated voice and very clear command of the English language. Not boring, very fun to listen to.
We loved it...what a amazing city..my hard to please 16yo son, is in love with NIce. Our great, super expressive, guide Silvia, was the cherry on top of the icing! It was a lovely, perfect day. I highly recommend the tour and her. Without the tour we wouldn't be able to see so many places(we didn't have a car). After it, we went to couple of places that she showed us...was just awesome!
WE HAD A WONDERFUL HALF DAY TOUR OF NICE IN A VERY COMFORTAB LE MOTOR CAR JUST MY FRIEND AND I WITH A VERY NICE LADY DRIVE (MARIE) SHE WAS VERY ENTERTAINING AND KNOWLEDGEABLE
WE WILL USE YOUR SERVICE AGAIN
THANK YOU
Good fun. Our guide was very informative and nice. A great way to see Nice. We especially loved Florian confectionary workshop.
The tour was wonderful, the guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative with the local history. It was a tour not to be missed if you're in Nice. I highly recommend it. Gary Molino Los Angeles, California USA
Booked this tour based on the excellent reviews and pleased to say it didn't disappoint. Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The onlyslight draw back was that there was an Brazilian couple who sat at the front of the bus which meant they had the lion share of the guides attention and as a result the rest of the english speaking guests were sometimes neglected. Overall I would definately recommend this thou.
Nice tour in minibus done by a lovely Latvian lady who had good but not perfect English! She was a good little driver too. I'm a slow walker due to a bad knee plus because it was towards the end of my holiday I was very tired and she handed it tackfuly & patiently. The highlights were the viewpoint over Nice City & airport whose runway starts & ends in the sea. The other highlight to me was the Russian Orthrodox Church, get to see inside if you visit. The Franciscan Musemn & Roman Ruins I could have taken or left. Reckon its not the cheapest way to see Nice since there is a tourist train which possibly stops off at the same sights. not sure. However if you want a more personalised door to door service its worth it though you might get it cheaper booking last minute in Nice from your hotel when you arrive. Sorry. .
We had a lovely tour. the driver was very informative and pleasant. It was a good idea to do this on our first day, so that we had a feel for the city and could easily find our way around. Loved Nice and will be going back soon and will definatly be using Viator again.
The tour guide started off by including everyone in his commentary. By the end of the tour he seemed to have directed all his attention to a young girl and her aunt. They sat beside him in the van and gave them a personal commentary of the different sites towards the end of the trip. For us in the back seats, we were excluded. He appeared to be infatuated with them and gave them his full attention. I think that Viator should be more vigilent when hiring tour guides who can be impartial and inclusive. As a result, I will elect to go with a local company in the future rather than booking with Viator.
This is an excellent choice for your first day in Nice. Gives you an opportunity to know how the city is laid out and the old region from the new. I do believe we missed a few of the details as we had a guide in training.
The tour Guide was outstanding! Just the right amount of time to see all the great views and other highlights of Nice.
