Our guide met us at our hotel on time. She was quite knowledgeable about the area, giving us some history of Nice during the drive to our destinations. At the end of the afternoon, she gave us a recommendation for a French Bistro in Nice, which turned out to be outstanding.
The tour itself of the Chagall and Matisse Museums met all expectations, although I would have liked more time at the Chagall Museum. I felt a little rushed to stay on schedule for the trip to the Villa Ephrussi. The gardens there were spectacular, and I enjoyed them more than the gardens at Versailles. All in all, we spent a lovely afternoon.

The driver was genial but had only been on the job 3 weeks and was not really up on the area.............the museum visits were fine, but we needed an hour more at the Rothschild estate......we felt very rushed.

It might have been better if we had the driver originally due to take us the guided tour, and though the substitute driver was pleasant and tried his best on a day that rained non stop, we had no explanation about the art forms and were merely delivered to the Chagall and Matisse Museums and told to return to the minibus at such and such a time. In addition, the minibus broke down and we did not get to go to the Villa Ephrussi. We are still waiting for a partial refund from the tour operator, Liven Up.

it was nothing to be complained about, only two of us in the group, driver willing to send us anywhere. superb experience.

This was my third visit to Nice, but I had never before gone past the "Old Town" part of Nice, where I always stay. I thoroughly enjoyed the morning tour, which included driving to up to Castel Park, which overlooks the Bay of Angels, visiting the Matisse Museum, seeing the Franciscan Monastery and its beautiful 15th century gardens,with olive trees and roses. We also drove past the beautiful Russian Cathedral. Wow! Overalll, a great introduction to Nice, and thoroughly recommended.

Excellent guide Andreas(not sure if correct spelling) He is very informative with very nice modulated voice and very clear command of the English language. Not boring, very fun to listen to.

Loved tour, great way for a quick overview on arrival Would please ask for sound sytem as commentry ... which is so appreciated ... not to be heard in back seat

We loved it...what a amazing city..my hard to please 16yo son, is in love with NIce. Our great, super expressive, guide Silvia, was the cherry on top of the icing! It was a lovely, perfect day. I highly recommend the tour and her. Without the tour we wouldn't be able to see so many places(we didn't have a car). After it, we went to couple of places that she showed us...was just awesome!

WE HAD A WONDERFUL HALF DAY TOUR OF NICE IN A VERY COMFORTAB LE MOTOR CAR JUST MY FRIEND AND I WITH A VERY NICE LADY DRIVE (MARIE) SHE WAS VERY ENTERTAINING AND KNOWLEDGEABLE

Michael, our guide was very nice and informative. A great way to get some panoramic photos of Nice. Unfortunately the Russian cathedral was closed the day we went.
